Where's Raynor and Arthas? I didn't see them anywhere.
You can see Raynor a bit in the part were he is fighting, and Arthas in the massive game center scene thing. All though I may just be seeing what I want to.

WOW. Seeing as it's a Disney movie, I am surprised. I kinda wish I had kids so that I could see this one in theaters... I have a feelings it'll end up being almost like a good version of Monsters Inc.

Do you really have to? Me and my brother go see a lot of kid movies all the time even though we are way past our child years, no ones questions us so far

If any Portal or Half life 2 Episode 3 references are not in this movie I will be disappoint.

I expected to see characters like Bison and Zangief. What I didn't expect was the final boss from Altered Beast. Seriously? I barely even remember that guy, that's awesome! Hope there's a few more like that.

You should give us a time-count in the trailer for when Raynor and Arthas show up. Would make my day.

Obvious one is Sonic. But right before you see Frogger (assuming that is the only frog related character I can think of), Digdug, and I think Pit from Kid Icarus? I could be wrong

Eggman is in this film.
Epic win.
Now all we needs is GLaDOS and Cortana and we're good to go.

It'll probably be a mix of ALOT of FPS games. Wouldn't be surprised if each member of the squad or something would be either someone from a FPS, e.g. Soap, Master Chief etc or a parody of them.

Another good trailer, its becoming a must go to the cinema for me, especially as we can take the boys.
Hoping to see a lot of cameos through the film though, would be shocked maybe even disappointed if some of the biggest game licenses in recent memory don't get some kind of mention.

My question is, how did Disney get the rights to feature these characters in the first place? Otherwise...
A movie which cameos different video game characters? Why not!

Well, they probably own half the characters and are throwing copious amounts of money after the others

A lot of folks are talking about Wreck it Ralph as the video games equivalent of Who framed Roger Rabbit, and when you look at that film you have to ask how did all those Cartoon companies come together and allow their works on one film.
Its basically in all likelihood a one off, and not to get involved seems a bad move, just on publicity stakes. This film is very likely to be a number one hit on both sides of the Atlantic and all over the world, so why would you not want your characters showcased?

Well, here's what happened with Roger Rabbit:
"Spielberg convinced Warner Bros., Fleischer Studios, King Features Syndicate, Felix the Cat Productions, Turner Entertainment, and Universal Pictures/Walter Lantz Productions to "lend" their characters to appear in the film with (in some cases) stipulations on how those characters were portrayed; for example, Disney's Donald Duck and Warner's Daffy Duck appear as equally-talented dueling pianists, and Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny also share a scene. Apart from this agreement, Warner Bros. and the various other companies were not involved in the production of Roger Rabbit. However, Spielberg was not able to acquire the rights to use Popeye, Tom and Jerry, Little Lulu, Casper the Friendly Ghost or the Terrytoons (except Mighty Mouse) for appearances from their respective owners (King Features, Turner, Western Publishing, Harvey Comics and Viacom)."
Probably the same situation there. It's good advertising.
BTW, you can find that info less paraphrased in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". The Cinema of Robert Zemeckis.

It never occurred to me till now of the glaring omission of Popeye, Tom and Jerry in the film. The others are less key, but those three are pretty big.
