Wielding a finely crafted Heavenfall Blade and a Storm Shield while wearing master crafted Terminator Armor is my personal load-out.

Wraithcannons. If wraithguard weren't $25 each here I'd be running a heap of them.

Swarmlord with 3 lash whip tyrant guard for up close killy, or hive guard for ranged. Nothing says I love you like a metal shank on the end of a 100m long tentacle.

Melee: Venom Blade
Small-arms: Exitus pistol
Normal: Splinter rifle
Semi-Heavy: meltagun
Heavy: void lance

If the Reaper Autocannon hadn't sucked in game, then definitely that. A large amount of big projectiles fired at a high speed, sounds like the perfect toy.

Otherwise, anything melta. Meltagun for mid range, multi-melta for long range and meltabombs for melee! If that would be possible.

If only there was a melta fist...

It slices, it dices and tenderises. Game needs more lightning chain fist claws. Though the Orks would put some armour plates on it, maybe a big shooter or three each.

Small arms: Inferno Pistol / Plasma Pistol. Both are nice, though I mostly like the more ornate ones.
Normal: Pulse Rifle
Special: Daemonic Gaze. You basically stare holes through marines by shooting lasers out of your eyes.
Heavy: D-Cannon.

Honorable mention: Null rods, pimpcanes of the grimdark far future.

Basically it shoots a small hole to the warp which is open for a brief second then closes. It's not open long enough to really pull anything into the warp. But it does for a split second before spitting it back out which usually rips anything apart.

More D Cannon stuff

D cannons sound sh!tty. Imagine you are in a huge battle and all the sudden you see a bright flash and then youre floating in the warp.

Lol true. Hm recently i was reading the 4th horus heresy book and i think scythes are pretty badass now too. You know, from the deathguard.

For close combat I'd definitely have to side with OP, powerfist is the way to go.


Though perhaps the Gauntlets of Ultramar would be a better fit, because hay bolters make everything better.

At range though I'd definately say the Conversion Beamer

Rail Guns man. Rail Guns are essentually the whole reason I started playing 40k, cause I thought they looked rad as hell.

Flamer. Definitely a flamer.
If you want to be specific, a burna. Walking around cackling and covering everything in sheets of flame (especially with a dozen buddies) looks badass, and in-game it is incredibly powerful. And then when the marine runs through your fire, just give the burna a quick shake and the nozzle clangs down, and you slice the marine in half with your 'cuttin flame.

Close Combat weapon: The Chainsaw that the Priests uses
Long-range weapon: The humble flashlight
Heavy weapon: Auto cannon.

Hellgun/Hotshot Hellgun

Lightning Claws or Relic Blade

I've always had an affinity for the chain glaive. Nothing quite like a 12 foot pole with a 4' long chainsaw attached to the end...
Or maybe the eldar spinners/kisses/other nasty monofilament nastyness...

For ranged it's always been about the plasma gun for me. Gun that shoots Green flame balls that incinerate everything they touch? Yes please.

Chain glaive isnt great for solo combat. Especially since its so long

Black Sword!

Orbital Strike Relay. The psychological impact of this artillery is worth 50pts on it's own.

Force Halberd (Take that! Eldar Scum!)

Bolter. That is all.

Heavy flamer. Kill them, then assault them.

Heavy: Shokk Attack Gun

There is just something i find amusing about a gun that fires formerly sane creatures, unshielded, through the realm of deamons INTO (not at, INTO) the enemy. I have thought about designing house rules for snotling swarms and modifying the SAG to, if no part of the template is over a model, put D3 snotling bases, as a new unit under the template with 1 wound each.

melee: Relic blade, preferably master crafted, and some digital weapons.
Short range/medium: Heavy flamer. Fwoosh!!
medium gun: pointing a squad of sternguard veterans at whatever looks at them funny.
long range-ish: Demolisher cannon. say good bye to... well, everything (although obliterators make me sad... )


So my preferred wargear is basically what vulkan has.
