I'd have to echo those grinder comments as well.

Not sure on the bone sort of colour on the screamers, but the others on them are nice.

Yeah, it just looks a bit unfinished compared to the bone you have on some of the others. Mostly the bird herald where it looks quite nice.

The look like they are coming along nicely. Also great choice of crisps!!

I think what is might be is I took the picture of the Screamers just after I finished applying the wash, so it would still be wet. I looked at them last night when I got home from work and the fangs and spines do look a lot darker than in the picture.

Thanks, dude. I didn't even get to eat the crisps in the end, went to bed and put them back in the cupboard. No doubt one of my bambinos has eaten them!

The last lot of Screamers, finished them last night:

Did some work on this bad boy last night. Ran out of greenstuff, so didn't get to finish what I wanted.

Fiddled about with the face; added a couple of horns and a big eye, still needs more greenstuff work around the eye in order to build it up.

Added a tank on the back, this needs more greenstuff to make it look like it is bonded to the body.

Biggest difference you can see is addition of guitar string. I've added these to the heavy bolter (which has been mounted on the right arm), from the tanks on the back into the legs and arms.

Also, you will spot a nurgling sitting on the Grinder's left shoulder and one at the rear.

Now, where's my greenstuff!

Added some colour to the Soul Grinder last night. Very WIP, but hopefully should have it done at the weekend. I'll go over the green flesh again along with the bleached bone areas, then the tanks will be painted a brass colour while the insides are done red and the eye done black.

Once all the above is done I'll wash it with whatever devlan mud is these days (why on earth did G.W change paint names?).

Lastly, I'll 'ard coat the eye so it looks glossy and do the internals so they look wet. I'll then add soot, mud and rust weathering powders and job's a good 'un.

Looking good. Nice touch with the guitar wire.

How do you plan to base the army?

Thanks, dude. I hope to get it finished the weekend. Seems like a lot to do, but really it's just little bits, which don't take that much time at all.

I am going for a custom base look and going to use PVA glue layered with superglue. I'll paint the bases. Though I am going to do some research and see what else I can find. Done a test base and the effect is fine.

It has been a chaotic weekend true sense of the word.

I got my last lot of Plaguebearers and Soul Grinder. I also finished the above Soul Grinder. I think it's a digusting metal beast

I also got my mits on several boxes of CSM and a Heldrake, which I got the Heldrake and one box of CSM built at the weekend.

I've been working on this Soul Grinder. Still WIP at the moment as I've ran out of greenstuff (new batch arrived today). I am going to add more greenstuff on the legs and rear. I am not sure what to do with the head, maybe add a cloth over the head maybe? I was also thinking of adding daemon-moobs and a big fat beer belly, which will incorporate the oil drum.

How did you get that bottom one to float like that??

Those 'grinders are amazing. I must get my hands on some!
