Was she wearing a schoolgirl uniform and you shared an awkward but poignant moment in the tree?

I dunno about you guys, but I randomly get these recurring dreams.
The one I remember most is the one where I take a class field trip with whoever my language arts class is, but with my good friend Dav. So we go into this one-story brick museum on this raised concrete platform w/ bushes in the suburbs of NEw york (I live in California) and inside there is this huge aquarium with a humpback whale in it. (aquarium on the right, in the middle is this weird spinning vortex of spiralling words) That dream is wierd, I just look at the whale, then look at the spinny words then wake up.
Then, part 2. Start from beginning go to when class enters building. Door locks. I think," Uh, oh. Could just be a horror dream." Then turn to look at whale. Looks at spinny vortex, there's a face made of words. Wake up. WTH
Part 3? Enter museum w/ class. The aquarium is drained of water and the walls look like dams. little puddles, some orange cones, and the roof of the aquarium is open to let it light. Looks kinda nice. Has platforms. Would be a great FPS map. Play around in the area. Wake up feeling kinda good about it.
Some other dream: I do't remember all of it, but I remember slamming my head into the pillow to finish the dream (mom woke me up) force-sleeped at least 4 times over the course of 2 hours to finish it up. Im sure it was related to Warhammer, the Imperial Guard, friends and girls, so it must've been good. (It wasn't inappropriate if you were wondering)
|
Seeing a squad of veterens swoop in in a Vendetta, secure the area, deliver that math assignment, and extract within 2 minutes would be freaking sweet.

These have only been minor things but heck still.... Then a few years back i had a reacuring/sequilizing dream which invoilved me and a group of friends trying to escape jurassic park. It always seemed to start in an area that looked like the green in Avenam park but with jungle where the trees are. I would find a jeep and we would drive out of the jungle via the road( ) and across the green being chased by a T-Rex. We would make it to the train get a way along it until it broke down. Trust me on this being hunted by Velociraptors and T-Rexs is not fun. I am thankfull that i do not remember many of my dreams. Put this way many of them are REALLY fethed up. I don't recall my dreams much these days.
It's the meds.
If I stop, then the dreams come back.
First, I'm climbing the stairs in the clocktower.
Then I'm assembling my rifle.
Then I open fire on the assembled throng of humanities and arts students clustered on the lawn around the ponds like so many more ducks.
Then I wake up.

As for dreams having meanings? Nope, I don't think so..... Although I do believe that they are very much influenced by what you saw before you went to sleep, or wether you are particularly stressed at the time.
I've been watching an awful lot of 'Supernatural' recently and have had a few dreams involving Vampire's, Daemon's and the psychic Pamela....

Ratbarf wrote:So I've been having some pretty fethed up dreams recently. A night or two a go it was a very involved dream where in I was possessed by a demon which manifested itself from my hand to start and had a flair for dramatic villain dialogue. I had to exorcise it, kill it then kill a bunch of it's friends. About ten minutes ago I woke up from a dream where a psychotic security officer from Texas knocked me out, pumped me full of black widow spider venom (a personal all time favorite fear of mine are spiders in general) dumped me in a office environment of some kind that had been stripped of phones and was completely dark in many place (might have been a school) and played The Most Dangerous Game with me as the quarry. Psycho's weapons of choice were a hatchet and hypodermic needles of all sorts of random fillings. So all of that brings us down to two questions: A. do you believe your dreams have any form of meaning? if yes how do your interpret your dreams? B. What's the most flying rodent gak insane dream you've had that you can remember? You sure you just arn't dreaming about what a first contact with Frazzled would look like? Automatically Appended Next Post: A. No, not really. Jung stuff is cool but I don't put much stock in it. B. Well one of my personal favourites was one where one of my buddies (who is a tall built dutchman) turned into a werewolf and then I turned into a werewolf and he tried to kill me so I tried to kill him by jumping repeatedly on his head while trying to stuff him into some kind of carbon freezing chamber on board what looked like a UNSC ship from Halo. All the while Treebeard was yelling at us for some reason or other, And all this happened in a Zero G environment. Another one was where I was the white power ranger and had to save a bunch of mermaids from the penguin and we were all in an olympic swimming pool. But that one was from waaaaaaay back when. A somewhat odd thing happened last year though, I was living with a bunch of mates in the house on of them had bought. Lived there for a year, about 3 months in we all started having similar fethed up dreams that would feature eachother. We basically figured it was something along the lines of synchronisation, akin to when girls who live together have their periods synch up. ewwwwwww. Anyways, the weirdest dream I have ever had was when the character off Toy Story... the cowboy or whatever was in a town that looked like Silent Hill, and everything was different shades of brown. Woody.. THAT'S HIS NAME, kept running down the street of Silent Hill but never got to the end and he kept screaming "help!" and "no!" and then his head would fall off and he would just collapse on the ground. Trust me, that crap was scary. Another weird dream was that I was when in a world where EVERYTHING was white, pitch white, the sky, the ground, everything. However, there was this standard brown looking table thing right in the middle of it, I then started to walk towards it, (you know the sound when you can hear yourself walking from the footstep echos, that was happening as well), then appeared this carton of milk (I hate milk, haven't drunk the stuff in 15 years, I do eat heaps of dairy products though) anyways. I went to open it because I wanted some but I could not open it for the life of me, don't know why, just couldn't, then the cartoon character Aurthor appeared as I wasn't looking and he gave me a fright, he then looked at me with this scary ass stare, shook his head in disappointment, opened the carton, then walked away, then I woke up. Always remember that one.

Thats no dream. Thats real life.
I used to have is dream when I was a kid. I'm standing on the shore of this bay area and it's snowing. All the vegatation is covered with snow. It isn't winter nor cold. It's just snowing.
At the opposite side of the bay I see this huge wolf running along the bay's shore line. It's fur is pitch black but it's hard to tell anything else as the snowing makes everything loose its' defination. The wolf isn't running towards me as it could just cross th ice.
I duck quickly to the vegetation. I'm not sure why but everything is silent. No wind, no sound from the snow or vegetation. I just lay down there silent. The snow feel quite comfortable and even warm. Suddenly the wolf attacks.
I wake up.

This was the most perfectly feminine hand I had ever seen. Nails trimmed perfectly, delicate and dainty, but with powerful reassurance. I grabbed it, and I was pulled up into a hot spring bath house, in the middle of winter.
Some other lewd things happened too. I don't think too much about them, because I'm immediately overcome with grief, and often fall into the fetal position shortly after I realize nothing is like anime, and life is stagnant and depressing.... ;_;

Mmm, last night I had a dream that I was in a hospital. I wasn't hurt at all, and the mood was cheery. I don't know why I was there, but I was sitting in a hospital bed, and they would bring me pudding and fruit and tea and other yummy things, and I would thank them, and a couple minutes later, another nice nurse lady would come in an give me something else. This went on for a while, and I had to refuse them, because I was just too full, and they would pout. They all had smiles on their faces, unburdened by guilt or pity... But they were covered in blood. Dried blood, at least. There was never a doctor, just nurses. Really weird.

the only dreams I can remember are:
There was one where I was a Senior in High School again and everything I've done since I graduated was a dream, which sucked because I hated high school and had nothing really going my way then.
Another one where I dream that I'm still at my first job and everything I did after I got better employment had been a dream. same as before, Sucked because I hated the job and, while I had more going on here than in High School, life still sucked in a big way.

My dreams are usually fairly surreal. My wife tells me about her dreams, and I can't believe they're so mundane. "But...where's the rain of skunks?!?"
I tend to think some people don't remember the surreal elements, or don't realize their surreal nature while in the dream. I do a decent amount of lucid dreaming, so I tend to have WTF moments during my dreams.

I'm kind of the opposite, I totally and utterly accept whatever is happening in my dream as the way things are and should be. Then I wake up and go, "What in the fething hell was that?"
Anyone had any out of body dreams? I've only had one, I was above myself looking down on my sleeping body when my mum comes in and tells me to wake up for breakfast. The next thing I know there is this feeling of of being sucked back into myself, it was like feeling the sound of suction, and then I wake up and there's my mum standing beside my bed.
Ever tried taking a spoon out of a jello cup that had formed an airtight seal around it? It sounded like that, except I felt it.

Same. I find my dreams to be too disjointed to really cobble together into a proper narrative. I never remember the fine details of my dreams, but I do usually remember whether the dream told some kind of coherent story or not. Certainly there are hardly ever any supernatural elements in my dreams (that I recall). The most I usually get out of my dreams is a sense, upon waking, of relief, regret, or various other emotions.

Probably the last one for me
I had this dream last night and allthough i cannot remember all of it i can remember the last bit.
My family and some other people had gone to this island to veiw some old ruins but had got trapped there and now there was this phsycho killer trying to kill them all. And some things in the mist although i never found what they where.....
Anyway myself and my ex decided to go and rescue them. So we loaded up my car-a hearse(My dream car-yay ) with weapons and supplies at my local sainsburys, fueled up and started off. We actualy got there(braving the elements) and managed to get across to the island. I was hunting down the killer and had just discoverd how he was moving around(secret tunnels which led back to the mainland and the things in the mist may have been about to make an apperance when my mum woke me

As for 'least interesting dream ever', how's this:
I had a dream where I got up, went to work, did a normal shift, came home watched a bit of TV then went to sleep...
Only thing that was different was that my work had moved to a different, unknown office and my partner's voice was high-pitched (like she had inhaled helium), otherwise it was a completely normal routine day for me.
That was really disappointing when I woke up, felt like I had done an extra day in work...
