Well yeah, but some people make it seem like she violently raped young children that had no clue, which is utter bull, she gave oral to 16 year old boys, she deserves punishment, but not stuff as drastic as hanging

Remember the teacher who went off with the young girl a while back? There was a lot of vitriol aimed at him. This issue always highlights some of the basic sexism at work.
Girls and women are innocents who can't make sensible decisions for themselves and need to be protected.
Men and boys are self determining free willed agents who always know what they're getting themselves into.

This woman should be treated EXACTLY the same as a guy who did the same thing.

The kids do not mind.
It's illegal.

And it's illegal overrides the kids feelings, as lictor stated it could go south quite fast considering she controlled their future.

not over here, that's legal age. he'd get fired for abuse of position, not much more.


and a situation like that occurred, cept we knew 90% of the story and blamed her for it, since she seduced him. the law went against him public opinion didn't.

This kind of relationship can seriously feth with the kid's mind and cause untold grievances.

I know a girl who used to, in highschool, sleep with her swimming coach. Word reached the principal that she was having an illicit affair with someone, but they didn't know who. When pressured into answering, she was at some point asked if it was her father who was abusing her, and she didn't deny, so the principal involved the police. Her father was a rather well known pianist and director of the conservatory in Quebec City, and lost his career because of the allegations.

Now I got all kinds of furious at her when she told me the story (I've rarely, if ever, wanted to punch a girl as much as I did then), but I must admit that I can't possibly imagine how it must have felt to be in love with someone and know that having it known will mean the person I love could end in prison.

She ended up being seriously screwed up in her sexuality...

There's always something worse. Saying, "It could be worse" isn't a valid argument. The guys who were molested could've had their dicks shut in car doors, but just because they didn't doesn't mean we should disregard them being molested.

I wish I could find it online but I dont have hope so, but it was a Rolling Stone article from a couple of years ago that follows up on one of these anonymous male teenagers from these stories.

It was a terribly interesting read and brought up a lot of points I had never even thought of. Very similar story, and showed how after he told, his life basically went to gak. He went from one of the popular jocks to the scum of the school. People were mad at him for telling, calling him gay, calling him a bitch and whatnot. I dunno its hard to summarize something I read probably circa 2009 but it really showed that as much as we all wanted to bang our hot (for me it was English) teacher, there's ramifications far beyond what 16 year old can foresee, and sometimes handle.

And my earlier point probably got lost in the fact that this is a forum mostly dominated by straight men, but how many times does the looks of a male pedophile come into the equation? Never. Like when that story broke about the Pakis I believe running a child sex ring in the UK, I don't remember many people worrying if the men involved were attractive. Thats all I was trying to point out, but this just probably isn't the right site.

Yeah, let's remove any motivation to stop at sex instead of just killing the witness to ensure their silence. If you're going to get the death penalty anyway if you get caught, might as well minimize the chances of getting caught.
