Yea, I have had to replace some choice stuff too with metal. Some of that older bendy plastic is a pain. The new stuff seems to be much more firm and easier to deal with.
Hey question for you all - did you (re)primer the figs before applying any paint? I recall the distributors claiming the models are pre-primered and ready to paint right out of the box. Just wanted to know if these results are from "right out of the box" (my concern is having to apply another layer of primer and thus possible gumming up some of the details)....

Excellent work. I love seeing people step away from the OTTgw painting style & not feel the need to make every different part of the model a different color so it all stands out. Real armed forces don't dress in parade uniform for battle but yet every gw one does.
I'm curious about the flammenwerfer as well. Do share! I've heated & straightened mine just to have it go back to being a ? again as soon as it reached room temperature.
