if the people you play with are that finicky maybe add a different colour to the helmets or something to signify that they are the vet squad, many people do this anyway just as personal preference, a white stripe or something.

Guess what? By that logic, you can't take ANY troops choices! Why? GW doesn't make "Imperial Guard Infantry Squads" they make "Cadian Shock Troops" and there is no "Cadian Shock Troop" unit

And froggy... at this point you're nitpicking. Any guard sized infantry model can be used as IG veterans, just go with what floats your boat.

There is no "Valhallan" unit in the codex therefore you can't use them. At least according to your imaginary rule which doesn't exist in the real game.

Two pages of us have been telling you, Frogy, there is no such rule.

You have said outright that the rule exists in several threads, which continues to be shot down as made up.

At this point, you are spamming.

You are also refusing to listen to what everyone else at Dakka is saying, yet you continue to make threads.

We've tried to help. I myself have made countless posts advising you that these rules you think are in place are not.

I've cited rulebook pages, others have linked you to GW's website where they say outright that you are wrong.

People have condemned you as a troll.

not forgetting conscripts also from this box if desired

First time poster, long time reader of frogy27 threads. I have read them all, great stuff. I don't think I have ever seen someone blatantly butcher the English language and disregard any and every comment so graciously provided by fellow dakka members.

Frogy please actually read what people are saying to you. Selling your guard models because they don't match units in the codex? Have you listened to anything people have said to you. GW DOES NOT MAKE EVERY MODEL IN EVERY CODEX. Hobbyists must create, build and customize many units in this game. It is one of the best parts of the hobby. Your friends have mislead you. Perhaps you could teach them a thing or two in what you have read from people here on dakka. Best of luck to you. I truly hope you can grasp this game. We really want to help you, so let us.
