I painted these ladies in 1993, when I was fourteen or fifteen years old. They sat in my parent's loft from 1997 until 2009. Now, I have many many Howling Banshees, almost all unpainted.
However, I am a contrary sod, and rather than paint the models I had that were ready, I decided to take seven models that were in various states of disrepair. Some had no sword, one had no pistol, and a few of their feet had fallen off. I repaired each of them as best I could, and am now in the process of painting them. As I have but five of the old girls, I decided the new ones should match them for the sake of using them together on the battlefield...
The next photos are of my progress so far on my latest members of my Sisterhood of Banshees. I will need to think of a way of unifying the new girls AND the old girls. Perhaps rebasing them all and maybe a runic motif on their swords...
