I've got to say Menoth. Their the yellow faction to the red of Kador and blue of cignar and the green f crix. You know what I mean? Maybe I just like bright colours?

No, it's because they're smelly elves. Nyss and Skornate elves don't count >.>

The Retribution is growing on me. I think part of it is that, as the newest faction (until Convergence comes out), they haven't had as long to build up a fanbase as the other factions. They also don't really show up as an option to newbies who are just starting to form their emotional attachments unless the newbies go looking for them, since Ret is barely mentioned in the corebook and they just got a battle box.

I like Ret, I was between them and Cygnar when I starter, but Cygnar had a battlebox and Ret didn't, so I went Cygnar. My favourite faction is between Cygnar, Ret and Circle, but I can't decide which I like best.

I honestly like them all. I have a small collection of cygnar, khador, menoth, and circle. Something about giant machines/monsters wailing on eachother is awesome!.

I like Circle of Orboros because of the freedom of their gameplay and boardcontrol. I like menoth because they have a superb denial game. I have been thinking about starting a little Retribution army, but I have been looking for some type of models to convert hands from. Becuse the jack hands on the Retribution Warjacks look to small and silly

In order:
-Magnus (some of the coolest long-running character stuff (ignoring a few choice pieces of crap), and five radically different lists for his two version. Yes, I consider him a faction )
-Cygnar and Trolls. I like how they look and play, and think they have some of the best caster concepts
-Khador- the parts I like I like a lot, but there are also a lot of elements I don't care for
-Runner-up: skorne: PP managed to salvage a really boring concept into something pretty cool by Metamorphosis, but now I don't like the direction they're taking them, again.

My favorite is Khador. I love the looks of the models, Ive always been a player of heavily armored hard hitting armies.

So I went with Cygnar to actually play with. I wanted something different from my usual style.

That being said I also have a small Trollbloods force (starter plus a Mauler)...should I ever have the opportunity or desire to play Hordes. I also plan on getting maybe 20-25 points of Khador sometime in the future.

My Cygnar is almost done, about 12 models need gravel on the bases & clearcoat. In all its over 60 pts worth. Well I do have a second Stormwall still in the box, but I want to get real tricky with that model, drill out gun barrels & smoke stacks, maybe some LEDs, etc...so its a big project for some other time.

My favourite warmachine faction would be cryx, they are fast and powerful and I always feel that I have more board control, too bad many people have a problem with cryx and tend to avoid playing games with me when I bring them.
my favourite hordes faction would have to be circle orboros I havent played too many games with them I got into them for the sole purpose of they way they look.

Not my favorite faction, but I'll given an honorable mentioned here to Khador. I've got a fledgling force of those that I'm getting back into again because they have hands down my favorite looking line of Jacks. I just love the big beefy mech look to all of them. I'm going to refuse to play any list with less than two Warjacks in it.

I've only just started warmachine but when I was deciding on an army I researched like crazy and went with mercs, mostly because of Rhul. The way I see it, your armies wage dumb wars so I might as well profit off it. And no one messes with Rhul, except for khador but they were put down like the rabid dogs they are.

I am 50pt of Thornfall Alliance and I wont be stopping any time soon. They are just hilarious, deceptively powerful, and has the bacon rule.

The leader is named Lord Carver, Bringer of Most Massive Destruction, Esquire the 3rd. How awesome is that???

He also names his army after anything that he finds cool sounding(the name escapes me atm).

Fluff wise my favourite it is Circle, because their background makes them pretty interesting anti-heroes. Unfortunately the model range until recently was decidedly hit and miss.

Model wise, I love Gators and Everblight, but not the entire range sadly. The ones I do like are awesome as all hell but there are some real turds in there too (Elves and Wrastlers, mainly).

Gameplay wise I enjoy my Trolls a lot.

Overall, Trolls have decent fluff (just wish they could win a battle every now and then) and decent models (few stinkers, mostly good to great) and fun rules. So they're my favourites, though I <3 others more in each category.

I've only but begun but Cryx simply for the color scheme and undead feel. And originally the undead pirates really hooked me.

I love the retribution of scyrah, first reason they're eleves. Second reason is that they are a proud and furious people. My third reason is the mage hunter strike force and Garryth. I love the synergy that they can have.

Cygnar. Because I like guns and I thought Long Gunners were amazing models back in '03. Too bad they're not too amazing in the battlefield.

Always been Mercs and Everblight for me with some side trips into other factions, because it's so easy to pick up a bit of something here and there for cheap. I had a huge collection of both that I sold off when the game kind of died in my area so I went back to 40k, now that 40k is on the decline, and WM/H has never been more popular I've started slowly rebuilding my collection.

For Warmachine, my favourite faction is Menoth. Normally I don't go for the 'religious zealot' type race/faction thing, but I really dig the crusader feel that Menoth has, and the fact that you don't have to paint any flesh is a real boon for me. The fact that their playstyle is generally more buff and attrition based is also appealing to me.

My second favourite warmachine faction is Convergence. I really dig the art deco/steampunk twist they have going on. Even though I'm still in the process of getting into the game (school has been getting in the way of me getting involved in the game, although I'm starting a year-long internship in may which may give me the time to get into the game) and Menoth will be my main faction, I'm still thinking of picking up some CoC stuff when it is released, mainly because I think it would be cool to grow up alongside the faction, so to speak.

For Hordes, paint me blue and call me a troll. I really dig a lot of their models, both infantry and beasts, and come on, they have a model that fights by throwing a bloody caber at them. Maybe its because my family is Scottish, but to me that is just pure awesome.
