Another option is to end it as in the previous post, but have a final shot -- just after the initial closing credits -- of a lone zombie apparently unaffected by instant win shuffling off somewhere.

Read what was mentioned earlier in the thread. The original ending had Gerry going to Russia and a massively expanded role for Fox (he basically forces Gerrys wife into a sexual relationship to have a place in that off-boat colony), and this ending was changed.

Pay attention to the movie and it answers this for you. It's a bs theory, but the film spends it's entire act 3 on this subject.

Yes it is. The ending was bs in order to have an ending but leave it open for sequels. However, in theory, it means they can set up a nice crossfire around a group of zombies before opening up and alerting them. Surprise is a tactic that yields more casualties.

Because I was curious. I will pay money again for the bluray because that curiosity turned to enjoyment while watching it. People have different opinions, yours is just wrong in this case.

Jerusalem scene when the zombies come in a tidal wave down the stairs, They go out to the left for a good minute before going towards Gerry + IDF, every other scene they cut corners instantly

That person was still in an Unpressurized part of that plane.. he would of Froze if they were up there for that long

A better plot device would be that some small obscure number of people are naturally immune and gerry is looking for them.

Zombies are attracked to noise. calling an office on the otherside of said Wing would draw them to that area.. away from the path they needed to take.

Which works on human and animal targets that fear you, doesnt really have an effect on a target that knows no fear and outnumbers you say a 10,000:1, can run a 30 MPH and can climb like an monkey

It wasn't a zombie movie, it was Transformers, so except to see more of these Gakky CGI dumps

Who knows? maybe the Bluray version will actually have a better plot than the theatrical version. one can only hope.
