They tend towards short-ranged mechanized warfare, generally.

My exorcists always pull their weight. They add much needed long range firepower the the SOB.

Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

Exorcists are amazing in a meta of MCs and elite infantry. They can reliably knock down Riptides, Paladins and other such troops that most armies seriously struggle with. They are a trifle hit and miss, with the random shots, but average rolling generally works out that I can seriously damage/kill a Riptide with two, and put fear into even Wraithknights.

The fact that they suck gameplay wise and w/ the release of Legion they can't even spam armor SV:3+ as much as marines anymore.

So wish I could play you with my Sisters just to show them how much they 'suck'. ;p

How many times have you played em?

I've played against sisters six times over 5 years. They're not very common in my local meta and in those six time it was the same two guys. 4 of those six times it was against my MC spamming 'Nids at 1800 points w/ a Trygon Prime, 2 Flyrants, 3 Tervigons & a large group of genestealers. 3 out of those 4 games I won and with relative ease. There weren't many priority targets but the 2 guys always brought Celestine who I've learned to give respect. The other game the taller one of those 2 guys rolled 6's half the time & won w/ a struggle.

The other two games were me playing legion at 2500 points w/ Horus, 40 marines, a Praetor, 10 2 wound Terminators, 2 decked out Storm Eagles, & 6 predators. My beloved Horus had nothing to do & nothing that could really wound him when I kept him out of LOS 1/3 of the time. I won both of those games & Horus came just short of making his points back on both occasions. I won w/ a moderate struggle on of those games and the other game all my vehicles were dead & Horus had 3 wounds left but I still had 2 groups of 8 marines occupying the objectives so I still won.

Finally found my quote from a gym buddy born and raised in South Korea:
"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press.
"It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
"It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
"It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag."
