Ya, after he gave that point, I see what the others were saying. I didn't get that the description was different than the italicized description. The way I see is that it coyld be argurd either way.

On one hand we have precedance of fluff affecting rules via plasma siphon.

But on the other hand we have actual descriptions of wargear saying they count as X and have Y special things.

If your in a tourney ask a TO for the tourneys official interpretation.

If its just for friendly games try to come to a general concencus with the community until an FAQ makes one of the interpretaions official.

(Both our GW manager and our FLGS manager agree towards it but neither of them know much of how RAW works)

Currently it doesn't work for either RAW. If your getting in this much of a tantrum over a few probably BS 5 bolt shots, you need to relax.
