My primary army is Tau. From there my current trend is to play my SM (iron hands) Guard and Grey Knights. I've kept my daemons on the back burner because I just don't want to run them right now and my CSM are busy trying to get painted.

My first army was Tau (in 3rd). Over time, I've played SM, GK, BA, Inquisition, Tyranids, Necrons, Eldar, and IG\AM. When 6th dropped, I didn't particularly care for the psychic phase, so I got rid of my collection in favor of an army that didn't have a presence in that phase, FE which is my current army. I still have some SM, but I'm looking to unload them to a local at my FLGS.

My main army is Blood Angels but I just picked up 4 knights so I am getting those prepped for the table. Not doing it for powergaming purposes I just really really like the fluff and look of Imperial knights.

It might be interesting to see how the data changes from that poll and this one, if the OP puts a poll in.

I play with my Elysian Drop Troops or Death Korps of Krieg Imperial Guard whenever I can. However if my FLGS is chalk full of Imperial players I will bring out my Farsight Enclaves Tau to mix things up a little.

My most COMPLETED army is my CSM, so they're usually what's in my bag, with pre written lists ready to go.

If I make a fun Ork list, I swap them out for a game or two. Lose horribly, and go back to bringing my CSM.

You should have done a poll, I reckon you'd have a lot more results to compare because it's much easier to press a button on a poll instead of type out a response. (Everyone is a lazy fether).

IG is my main. The rest are listed below.

Tau/Farsight Enclave.

I don't got a lot of cash here. Tau are the main one.

Edit
If they ever do Deathwatch though I'm picking some up. A mini dex, not a boxed set.

Dark Angels first and foremost 1st 2nd and 3rd companies. Been building a GK army for apoc games and for some quick ally (I.e stormraven) and building and painting an IMP. Fist army. Want to buy another but can't decide prob guard. Apparently I should just say Imperial forces. Lol

I'm solo blood angels personally. They hit my sweet spot for lore, color scheme and aesthetics, battle strategy (fast and choppy, medium model count,) and models. I will not switch to any other army, although I have picked up a couple knights (ok, bought one and won one) and the assassins to ally in.

My nearby companions don't really into internet 40k, but among them are 2 eldar, 2 dark eldar, 1 space wolves, 2 Astra Militarum, 1 30k iron hands marines, 1 nids, 2 tau, 3 orks, 2 chaos space marines, 1 daemons, 1 sisters, and 4 necrons.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
36% of our local group's meta is tau, eldar, and crons.

68% is xenos of any kind, but not counting traitor marines in that.

It's definitely a hard front for the imperium out here.

Dark Eldar. I used to have like 4 or 5 armies. Started with IG, then to Necrons, then Space Wolves, then Tyranids. Then I realized that I wasn't using any army enough to actually get better with them. I played Dawn of War Soulstorm with Dark Eldar and boom. In the middle of selling off everything and going pretty much solo Dark Eldar.

Drive closer! I want to hit them with my sword!
