Way to reduce it to a bizarre absolute and yank it out of context.

Good spot.
And you found a 14 year old DILBERT comic* about it too!

Why not just include the die with any sale of over £50 and leave it at that?
For a loyalty card, I was expecting something like the old ones - make 10 purchases over £10 and get a £10 voucher or a free blister. It's still a long way short of a 10% discount but it doesn't feel like you're getting so obviously shafted.
I bet it's not cumulative either, spent 50€ and get 2 stickers, spend 40€ and only get 1 sticker. So you could potentially be spending 295€ before getting that first die. Worse if it's 1 per transaction, so if you spend 100€ on a single item you'll get one sticker and not 4.
On the face of it, this is a pretty crap reward.
So you could potentially be spending 295€ before getting that first die.
Put like that, it really is a pretty half arsed 'offer'.
(*Weirdly, actually 14 years to the day)

Seeing the Skullz promotion makes me pine for the days when GW did used to offer some decent promotions. Like the buy one get one free type promotions they used to do when new stores opened (buy Blood Bowl and get Death Zone free, that sort of thing).
I must have missed the Skullz one, I think that ran during my extended sabbatical from the hobby.

Yeah me too.
I think I managed to reach all the items I wanted in the original Skullz (Ultramarine Standard Bearer, VC Standard Bearer and the original Imperial Assassin) but I never saw the AdMech stuff until 4-5 years ago.
Annoying!

If this is a subtle way for GW to do market research by tracking who is buying what, then I'm all for it. I've long thought that what hurts GW the most is their rather backwards pride of being a company that (supposedly) doesn't do any market research.

I seem to remember I wandered down to my local GW one morning about 10 or 12 years ago to find they had a massive sale on BFG and Epic to clear the shop for a renovate, so I pretty much cleared their shelves and got enough skulls for the Dwarf Lords of Legend in one go.
BFG, Epic, sale. Happy days.

Are they tracking anything? This looks like a sticker card rather than anything like a loyalty card. You make a purchase, you get stickers, you collect enough stickers and you get a gift.
