47 here. So yeah - old enough to know better, still young enough not to care two-bits about it. I also remember clear coke. And DIET clear coke (sugarfree) and ... "It's the bubbles of something that make it kinda ... nothing " CAFFEINE FREE DIET clear coke. I tried the last one - it tasted foul (more foul than cola drinks normally ).

I remember caffeine free diet coke. It tasted like a mixture of carrot juice and gasoline. And it probably caused cancer.

A "harsher" Mountain Dew... if that makes sense. About the same caffeine amount too. If you're referring to Easy's "Surge" post. Crystal Pepsi? Still tasted like Pepsi to me.

Surge has (at least recently) come back in a really quiet fashion. Apparently it pops up in large packs you can buy on Amazon, but it never lasts that long. I do believe it's actually new Surge, and not a supply someone's been sitting on and now liquidating
