Eldar & Imperial Knights to get new dexes with notable price cuts to already competative units. A new knight variant and plastic aspects for models to go with the new dexes.
Some form of non-chaos marines to get a new dex, I'm guessing BA who get their drop pods taken away, countered by the release of a Custodes dex that uses what looks supiciously like sigmarines as its base.
DE get another supplement to further nerf wych cults and disallow the archon from taking any equipment other than a WWP and gets the special rule "Masters of the webway", which only lets the no scatter function work if attached to an eldar unit.
Guard will get a new dex just before the end of the year that will make no difference until 8th drops just before Xmas and makes the army completely unplayable, but rockets Tempestus to top tier, even above the 7.75 edition eldar released earlier in the year.
All mention of chaos marines are removed from 8th edition rule/fluff books and the codex is no longer for sale.

Don't care. I'm not dropping another $250 or whatever it is for more Wraithknights.

We're still lacking a plastic kit for almost all of the characters barring Logan, and Cyberwolves are still Finecast rather than Plastic. I can see them doing an "Iron Priest" set where a single Iron Priest is packaged with a few cyberwolves. There's also no official model of a Wolf Priest available (closest we get is Ulrik and the one in the codex is a converted chaplain) so expect that down the pipeline sometime too.
So there's still some stuff to be updated, and it's not out of the possibility that GW will release some new unit for the SW, possibly some big huge LoW unit or something (a Kraken-Wolf Cavalry maybe?) and of course Wolf Scouts and Swiftclaw Bikers could be there too.
Outside of Wolf Scouts, a re-tooled Longwangs kit to include Hellfrost weaponry and a plastic Wolf Priest, Space Wolves are beyond blessed for their model line.
You guys can have all your plastic HQ's after us poor Chaos players get an actual model line that isn't almost entirely composed of bad plastic & Failcast that's typically 10-15+ years old!

I am hoping for GW to do to the Wolf Scouts models what they did for Grey Hunters relative to Tactical Squads. Make them all wolfy and include both the CCW and Sniper weapons.

GW should redo the Taurox kit if they update AM/MT. I've seen some really solid conversions, it's just the upside-down tracks that spoil that model's looks.

I don't really get the update kit for Rubrics. I mean, as someone who collects Thousands Sons it'll make that cheaper which is awesome, but I get the impression they aren't a particularly popular choice (due to how overcosted they are pointwise as well as in IRL). I would have thought stuff like redoing the Havoc kit would benefit more players
But at least I'll spend less money to have an uphill struggle, I guess...
(as a random idea, maybe GW are planning on doing something like the Betrayal of Calth with the Burning of Prospero late in the year, explaining the new kit...)

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...
koooaei- Emperor: I envy your nipplehorns. <Magnus goes red. Permanently>
Neronoxx- If our Dreadnought doesn't have sick scuplted abs, we riot.
Frazzled- I don't generally call anyone by a term other than "sir" "maam" "youn g lady" "young man" or " HEY bag!"
Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.
mrhappyface- "They're more what you'd call guidlines than actual rules" - Captain Roboute Barbosa
Steve steveson- To be clear, I'd sell you all out for a bottle of scotch and a mid priced hooker.

I get the feeling that this is how GW plans to overhaul our entire model line - by releasing a single kit each year, until Chaos Marine players become as ancient & embittered as the army itself...
Then GW will finally release a new codex, with the army wide rule being Veterans of the Long Wait, which will allow Chaos players to forge the ultimate narrative, in between having constant 15min bathroom breaks to change the dippers we'll all be back into by the time the project is complete!
Chaos Marines = the Maple Leafs fans of 40k.

I'm not surprised by plastic Rubric Marines for one reason; Prospero. Trying to compete with FW for that Thousand Sons cashing-in could be a huge mistake, or it could serve to reinvigorate the army for both 30K and 40K. The Thousand Sons have been steadily gaining popularity for years given their tragic back-story in the Black Library books, fleshing out Magnus and Ahriman as characters, their rivalry with one of the most popular Legions (Space Wolves), how unique they are among the various Legions, etc. We'll see if it pays off or not as the plastic kit could very well just get eaten in sales by the 30K stuff.

Well my joke is that Hell just froze over, because GW is giving out discounts and major discounts for some of their products now. So if Hell froze over the Toronto Maple Leafs won Lord's Stanley Cup.
