But... but... this time it's actually true! Time flows strangely in the Eye.

Let's hope the things these lost brothers hunted won't be following them back out later this year.

Sad Panda you tease you....

I am looking forward to this Space Wolf release, I have picked up some units to paint already and I am holding off getting more until I have seen exactly what this release will bring. And if there is a new codex to go along with it also! I saw that Ulrik was out of stock a while ago, and I held off on a cheap Ebay metal figure for exactly that reason. Also, new long fangs would be lovely! With some sort of flavour weapon (hellfrost most likely), will be awesome! I hope they do Ulrik justice, in the fluff he sounds hard as nails!

Just as an aside, why do these rumor threads always turn into "advocate of x army" whining about how they are left behind, nobody loves them and that someone from GW once shoved a pineapple up the rectum of a character they once spent 30 seconds reading about? Can we please, please for the love of all that is holy just let people who are interested in the actual rumor post in these threads? We know Chaos/Orks/Nids/Hello Kitty/Bob Next Door needs an update. We know. God do we know. However, sometimes players from other factions get shiny stuff first. Please let the threads roll without the constant complaining.

There are plenty of people who set up email alerts for these threads so that they can see if anything interesting is being posted. Whining isn't really helping anything in these kind of threads, and can be an annoyance to others.

Ah its all part of (dakka) bingo!

I'd love to see a 13th company release, fond memories of those guys.

MUST CONTAIN HYPECITEMENT

so I wonder if the return of the 13th CO, will just be the Wulfen.

Or, wulfen, Grey Slayers, Storm Claws, Sternhammer, Lord Bulveye.

One infantry kit, one vehicle/monster/cav kit, two character models?

Sad Panda's response to the quote sounds like a full 13th Co release - so 2-3 kits?

Please make some nice new plastic versions of the iconic characters. I don't even play Wolves anymore but would snap up a new Ragnar and Ulric.

I'm more interested in this. As a SW player I was pretty disappointed with the last SW release, firmly cementing SW's as a clown army with Logan Claus... Murderclawed Murderfang with a Murderlust from the planet Omnicide... the flying dog's head.

At this point I'm more interested in FW's take on Space Wolves than GW's.

If it is 13th company, which is about the only part of SW lore that I LOVE, I will find myself with some allies for my Blood Ravens

Curse of the Wulfen is the next campaign book according to the latest 40k news and rumors. Obviously its centered around Space Wolves, but also has a some Chaos Daemons.

Please remember that at this moment these are rumors. A huge thank you to the source for sending this in.

via Lucky Shot on Faeit 212
Space Wolves campaign book is called "Curse of the Wulfen"
Also includes a decurion for Chaos Daemons

if true, then these Im guessing blurry pics will follow shortly. =D

Hey, after all this time, maybe my 13th company will be playable again!!

They'll redo the fluff, though, because as they stand, they would be hard on GW's "sell everyone on giant warmachines" kick.

Here is hoping that the alleged campaign has a Space Wolf boxed set and a Thousand Sons boxed set. The 13th Company was off in pursuit of the Thousand Sons, after all. Would be a good way to release those plastic Rubric Marines that are coming out. Most definitely going to see a plastic Rune Priest of this is the 13th Company.

Does that mean Daemons are due for a release later on this year? (according to Sad Panda)

Probably not... Look at the last campaign - Tau got a new book, the nearly unplayable poor Guardsmen got a 'Cadian Detachment' that fixed exactly 0 of the issues that IG have in playing 7th edition.
Odds are, the Wolves will get all the love, (because there's no love quite like Speesh Mehreen love afterall!), and Daemons will get a half-hearted few formations and be left in the dust until 8th ed.

While Daemons aren't nearly at the lows that those poor, poor Chaos Marines are, the Lore of Tzeentch & Tzeentch Daemons are in an especially bad place right now... Tzeentch armies have pretty much lost their entire shooting ability due to it all being linked to the Psychic phase, and the newer preponderance of mass FnP everywhere.
All Chaos forces really need the proper psychic treatment as well, since we're still the only losers stuck with half a spell lore for each god... (and most of those spells are utter crap!) Hell, Chaos Marine psychics are so incredibly bad right now that taking a mark of Chaos on your Sorcerer is actually making him 100% worse!

SP said, this year mostly Tzeentch releases for AoS, no Lord of Change until the end of the year or later, some crossover releases with 40k, Thousand Son (Rubrics) in plastic are far away, not in Q1 and Q2 2016. No major update for CSM this year also. Based on that a campaign vs TS is not going to happen now. At least not with plastic Rubrics.

Chaos Daemon Decurion? Sounds plausible, but the source 'LuckyShot' is dubious. The timing of this rumor on Faeit is interesting.

If it turns out correct, that would be a nice campaign book though. Fingers crossed it is correct and not guessing.

I did not mention a codex ... I wrote update. If this update comes as a new codex or campaign is not of interest. Why get the SW the attention and not other factions who would need it?

I'd be willing to bet that Space Wolves will get the full-on Tau treatment and get a re-print of their codex with all the new units & updates under one cover, because they're still Space Marines...

Guard got gakked on because the only thing they got was a half-baked Decurion formation that requires more infantry than any sane person would ever field in one go! (let alone paint. )

Space Wolves get the attention because Space Wolf players are the acknowledged upper crust amongst 40k players. That is a fact.

They are probably an army that people spend a lot of money on. Same goes for Dark Angels and Blood Angels. Space Marines sales make up the lion's share of all GW purchases.

I just hope we get something like an Armageddon campaign for Blood Angels and Orks.

I'd like to see a werewolf, but rather than a human who transforms into a wolf (boring!) this is a giant mecha-wolf that transforms into a mega-Murderfangesque Knight variant, perhaps called MassMurderSpikes.
