Cheers matey! I'm happy with how it turned out! i have enough orks in the sitting position too build two more, i hope to include some classic helicopter designs such as the huey hog and the hind 24 crocodile, stay tuned!

Very nice work you have there, stonned_astartes! Like others have said, your scratchbuilding talent is superb, and the red skinned orks, based on some great fluff, are fantastic. I cannot wait to see more of your work

Red Orks remind me of the infernal Orks in warcraft 3
Your pics are sometimes a bit blurry, so I wasn't really sure about the waaghboss at first, but painted the comrade looks great!

Love the red skinned Orks, the Trukk, and especially your Deffkoptas. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful job on the skin. I'm wondering though if you might not experiment with other armor colors that might set off the skin rather than blending in with it.

Very sweet looking scratch builds, soon you won't need any GW parts as a means to get started anymore...that ex- rhino is an awesome piece, and I have a soft spot for any non green orks!

Cheers! I started with some yellow and blue armour but preferred this set up, i will deffintly give some other colours ago on my other squads though! Trying to avoid green though

Haha well i'm happy to provide that non green kick vik, and no, ive ordered some wheels of ramshackle for my next trukk and nothing else.

Not much work done on my orks today, as i'm tiring to get my guard upto scratch and also tidy my desk, but did mange another objective marker as i found the bomb gliff while tidying. Also started on a bigg trackk, hopefully you can see what im going for with the pic...

Just got these wheels from Ramchaklegames, in the post. Really chuffed as i didn't have to pay a penny of postage and they chucked in an extra 4! All for a fiver!
Casts are pretty good, VERY orky, would highly recommend!

Also adding a bit of spree to the under-carriage off the truck as the flat bottom just looked wrong. I would also like to add some sort of cover for the back to bulk it out, and another set of wheels.

Some how my need to play with little pits of plastic is battling through my normal summer 'I have a life' attitude and im making progress on my stretch rhino, its also been widened. Pics coming soon.

Also i'm thinking off adding bigger rear wheels to the trukk aswell as adding a bigger load bay and maybe a canopy.

After gitz's comment about the way the orange goes with the red skin i've been playing around with some painting ideas on the ork painter on chain and bolter(only because dakka hasn't got an ork option!) and iv'e come up with some idea and would really appreciate some OPINIONS!!

SO, a peny for you thoughts?

The grey seems oddly complimentary as it contrasts with the bright red skin.
