A great month of painting and a lot of solid entries. One thing is for sure; This painting competition has a new steady entry from me going forward - It's a pleasure dudes and dudettes!

There is some truly amazing stuff on here and thank you to all those who gave feed back on my entry. This was alos my first entry in any form of comp. I think this good for all levels of skill and everyone on here is really supportive.

It gives me inspiration to try harder next time and to study my skills, so great work to everyone who entered and i can't wait to enter my next piece and to see all the other entries.

Thanks for everyone who voted for me very tough round for my first entry. Super impressed with the quality of submissions this time around, I'm just glad I managed to get my entry finished in time! I'm hoping to get involved for each months comp but due to my life right now it might not be that easy. Regardless keep them coming dakka and even if I don't get involved I look forward to see what you all come out with each month. Thanks for making this happen par.

@Midget Gems: Pretty sure you were beating me most of the way through, it was only in the last day or two of voting that jah and I got ahead. Good thing about the new scoring system, though, is that you'll still get the points you deserve!

I do want to thank everyone who voted for me once again, I was very proud of that Salamander and it means a lot to see him up alongside the likes of jah and Jan, two of my painting idols! Only the second time I've made the top 3, hopefully I can get up there a few more times this year!
