I also forget how the Tyranid Prime ONLY gives bonus WS to Warriors. Once I joined him with a group of Hormagants, and the group was WS5. My opponent got creamed, but I feel sort of bad now.

I'm surprised about people forgetting Night Fight. As a Daemon player, I remember to roll that every game. I only "forget" when I pal Eldar (and no that isn't cheating since NF is only rolled if a player wants to roll it)

I always get excited when I remember Fear, then I immediately feel sad cuz I'm playing a Fearless or ATSKNF army. Or I'm playing against Tau that will hit on 5's anyway.

I forget he gets a 4++ save from his Wolf Amulet.
I forget he causes Fear.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

That Legion Veterans have both Bolt Pistols AND Combat Blades, granting them +1 attack
(And is worth the points, as 160 for 10 gets you those AND veteran tactics, whereas a basic tactical squad is 150 points and is +2ppm for a Combat Blade)

I usually forget Soul Blaze and Fear (Fear is easy to forget since most stuff in the game doesn't care about it).

Today, inexcusably, I mostly forgot about my Tau Dawn Blade Contingent's good ability (that lets you reroll wounds/armor penetration against a chosen unit each turn). In my defense, it's the first time I've ever run a Dawn Blade, and I still won the game by a huge margin (my list was just way stronger than my opponent's).

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

When I do run my wraiths I always forget they have rending, and get annoyed when they are so underwhelming haha

Forgot my destroyers have 2 wounds once, they died pretty quickly that game lol

Whenever I run a special character I almost always forget about their special rules for the first game or two haha. Never realise how good they are until a few games in haha

Fear. Every damn time. And I play Harlequins soooooo....

Gotta remember to ask my opponents before they assault if they're spooked by my spoopy flying skimmers.

Harlequins: They're LSDelicious.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Fear, grenades, night fighting, to roll mysterious objectives (and to apply their effects when we do)

Also, I still have to be reminded sometimes that Swooping FMC aren't scoring. I'm getting better with it, I just have moments where I draw an objective that's linebreaker or secure objective x and get excited because a daemon prince is there, forgetting entirely that I swooped with it. Luckily my opponent remembers 95% of the time, and 3% of the time I realize before I draw more cards and take the point back. (Numbers totally arbitrary)

I often forget Warlord Traits. And the Drop Pods storm bolter.

And alot of folks where I play always start rolling for hits before I have decided whether to Jink or not.

Now, since I am both (an honest) Chaos player AND an ork player I often remind my Opponent about fear tests, challenges, soul blaze, and random allocation of wounds which for both my armies hurts alot!
