made a fair bit of progress on the rockers today, and I think I did a couple of things to the wagon, but I can't remember what now

still lots of little details and finishing touches left to add, but I'm starting to see the finish line!

Sweet! Glad you ditched the yellow toy truck. I use lots of toy vehicles myself, but the mix with thehighly detailed GW kits was a bit jarring.

The ruins of the Palace of Thorns

I started a project like that when I was about 14, back in 1992 or so. Mine never got finished, but I do actually still have it...

Well done, looks great so far.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Thanks for all the comments guys! - it gave me the extra boost to my motivation that I needed...to get it FINISHED!

many small details, touch-ups, and slight reworkings, including 4 new glyph plates stuck on and painted...I could probably keep tinkering away on it forever honestly ...but I'm happy enough with it now

allrighty then, I suppose it's time for the pics!

Needs a soundtrack. Looks awesome.

I know it’s a silly little detail, but when looking at the divers, I wondered if they had the band’s logo on the back of their jackets.

A truly fantastic piece - here's to hoping it gets on Dakka's front page, and stays there!

Yes please - will have to be something from AC/DC of course; Highway to Hell ZoBo? Seems appropriate

this could be a fitting soundtrack I think
Spoiler:

...and the drivers don't have band logos unfortunately...really tricky to get to their backs with a brush...nice idea though, I may give it a try sometime when I'm feeling braver

Rock 'n Roll Train - you know you want to have that blaring from some headphones wired through the stage speakers

Looks great, one of my future (nevergonnahappen) plans is to recreate the rockers using newer plastics so they don't look like a grot band
Love the original sculpts and idea just want them a bit beefier.
I like what you did with the chimera but would have loved to see the battle fortress version
A cheap MP3 player inside the chimera is surely a must?
For those about to rock.........
