Well the experimental points costs rarely change by much in the past. And we've been told by
FW that the Custodes are getting a full list, so maybe stop being so hostile about everything and pay attention to what we do know.
Don't mean to be hostile, it was an honest question because Forge World has let books out before their release date to some people. I didn't know if you had one or not.
I'd beg to differ on the points costs changing on experimental units. Points and rules do change a lot on some of them. The Grav Tank is probably the best tank in the game at those points. If the final list allows them to be fielded in squads like other tanks... wow. Just wow.
Where/when did
FW say the Custodes were getting a full list? I've seen them say a "playable army" in a dispatch and a passing reference in November's White Dwarf. But what's a playable army? I think I covered what we know fairly well:
1). Two units of Infantry with place holder rules
2). An
OP Grav Tank with experimental rules
3). Another Grav Tank that is a Fast Attack choice, and we have no rules/points
4). A third grav tank, the biggest one yet, seen at a Forge World Open Day. All we know is that it's a transport. No rules, no points.
5). A Contemptor Dreadnought armed with what looks to be a large sword with a built in flamer, and a shield. No rules, no points.
6). A Forge World decal sheet
7). Another inferred infantry unit using bolters on the cover of Book VII. No models seen, no rumors, nothing about these guys.
And the final thing we know: The book will be released in February. I'm thinking at the Forge World Weekend Feb. 4th and 5th, 2017. No official word on that, but it's in line with other book releases and Forge World Weekend/Open Days.
So judging by what we know (very little) and that the book is possibly coming out in the next couple weeks, doesn't it make sense to say "what and get the book" before spending a lot of money on a bunch of unknowns?
