A. What two factions are facing each other? (Rule: The factions must NOT share a color. For example, you cannot pit Blood Angels versus Khorne Daemons because both are Red)
B. What generic Character model (ex: Space Marine Chapter Master, but not Kayvaan Shrike) gets a model? Choose one for each side.
C. What troop unit accompanies each faction?
D. What two other units are bundled into the box for each faction?

A) Astra Militarum and Orks: Armageddon
B) A new Regiment Commander (more bits options than the command squad stuff) and Boss Knob (An update, more armor due to the warzone / hostile environment)
C1) IG/AM new sprue with "greatcoat" and gas-mask options with their Chimera, Cult of Speed boyz in a trukk with an extra sprue to armor up (or fasta-up) the trukk.
C2) OR a potential update for Catachan with an "Ork hunters" sprue and a feral Orks possibly snakebite clan specific sprue add-on to the boyz. The extra choices from the Orks can cross-over to the Ork Hunters.
D) You could count the transports as one choice each, A re-release or update to the Sentinel and Deaf-Kopta's would be nice.

Vigo. Spain.

A. Tau vs Tyranids: The Fall of Ke'Lshaan. Hive Fleet Gorgon was destroyed, but as most hive fleets that was just a exploration splinter and the actual hive fleet is reaching now Tau Space. Without hope to stop them, the Grey and Yellow survivors of Ke'Lshaan try to evacuate whats left of the planet after an initial and devastating attack from the bone and green Tyranids of Gorgon they weren't ready for.

B. For Tau: One Commander in Ghostkheel Suit (Or even better, a XV22 Stealthsuit), followed by his second in command, a Firecaste in a regular Stealth Suit armor, leading the survivors to one of the last evacuations zones that theres left on the planet.
For the Tyranids: An Alpha-Warrior Prime, a medium step between a Tyrand and a Warrior Prime, a bone protected monster with four arms, nearly double the size of a Tyranid Warrior armed with a bone whip, a giant bone sword and two small assault tyranid acid sprayers.
With him, an Sonic-Spawn, an elite character, a special mutation of Lictor after absorving the Vespid DNA, a Winged Assasin cappable of proyectin sound waves that melt the brain and internal organ of their enemies.

C and D Tau: One unit of 10 Tyranid-Veteran Kroots. After the fall of Hive Fleet Gorgon, many Kroots started adapting Tyranid DNA, and this breed of Kroots his covered in bone-caparace, giving them better armor, and and his hands have gained giant claws that don't prevent them from using the always usefull kroot rifle, but gives them and edge in the meele agaisnt their enemies. This new kind of kroot are surprisingly resistent to the corruption of Chaos, even if they don't know it yet.
A unit of 5 Vespids. Vespids, we all love them, with new, good, plastic models. One of them carries a heavy shock blaster, capable of stuning or even killing the tripulation of a vehicle without touching the vehicle tself.
A unit of 3 XV35 Phantasm Suits, a crisis, elite version of the regular Stealth Suit, a middle ground between that and the Ghostkheel.

Tyranids: 20 Kroox-Tagaunts (Name open to change ), four legged Termagants with scything talons at their back, after the adaptation of the Kroot Hound DNA.
3 Acid-Warriors, Tyranid Warriors that carry acid mortars at their backs and fight with giant bone maces as their weapons (Equivalent to Thunder Hammers)

I know is very specific but really, this IS my DREAM boxset.

I would want T'au versus Tyranids, as well. Gun-line versus melee.

T'au List:

HQ - Cadre Fireblade - This would be a new sculpt.
Troops - 10 Fire Warriors
Heavy - Broadside
Fast Attack - Piranha - Flanking unit to support the gun-line.

Tyranids List:

HQ - Broodlord - Another new sculpt.
Troops - Two sets of Genestealers(16)
Trygon - Not sure what battlefield role it is.

Also forgebane was a good box imo.

Forgebane would have been better if it hadn't included the Armigers or Dominus and instead included an Enginseer and Ironstriders.

Anyways, my dream box?

Genestealer Cultists:
A new alternate sculpt Primus(female instead of male) with a different set of weapons or a dismounted Jackal Alphus(male instead of female) that could be kitbashed with the current model if you wanted to have multiples with different looks.
1x Ridgerunner Achilles
1x Neophyte Hybrids
1x Goliath

AdMech:
1x Skitarii Prime, New unit, toting some kind of heavy weapon and scanner array.
1x Skitarii Rangers/Vanguard set(intended to be Rangers for the box)
2x Skorpius(one is to be built as a transport, other as the tank)

Set includes some scenery for a kind of 'rebel encampment' and rather than being the GSC on offensive, the fluff would be that they got spotted out in the wastes and have to either escape or win.

Sets up a new and interesting dynamic for a box where killing isn't the only way to play.

C) Asuryani - Guardians. Drukhari - Wyches

D) Asuryani - Wraithguard/Wraithblades and a Wave Serpent. Drukhari - Reavers and Raider

Not only are these two interesting armies, but they can also be combined to make one large army so that a given player can use both parts of the box set. Also, good jumping on point for Ynnari if you wanted to go that route.

SG

A. Seconded, as this is one of the few combinations that would actually interest me in buying it (rather than getting the half I'm interested in via ebay).

B. Sounds good to me.

C. Great, with updated guardians please!

D. No wraiths, we've had plenty of wraiths in boxes lately. Since this is a dream box I'll pick new plastic aspect warriors. Warp spiders are probably the unit most in need of an update across any army, and banshees would be fun to pair against the wyches.

Normally, I would have said the Wrath and Rapture would be my dream box (AoS/40k combo). But I had everything in multitudes except the heroes. So I guess my new top box would include Emperor’s Children vs. Aeldari. Would be thematic, good vs. evil, and include Marines on one side. New Lucius model, new Phoenix Lord (pick one), and a host of Aspect warriors and Noise Marines in plastic. GW would be printing money hand over fist.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I'm expecting something guard related both Loyal & tratoris. the blackstone models look great and with the soon to be released bad commisar & ogryn it appears to at least be on the horizon. 2020 is probably reasonable. Orks & Craftworlds hopefully sometime between now & the heat death of the universe.

Here's mine...

A. Night Lords vs. Astra Militarum - I love the idea that the Astra Militarum would be defending themselves desperately against the terror troops of the Night Lords. The concept is just super cool! The khaki and camo green of the Astra Militarum versus the terrifying blue and red of the Night Lords would be really neat.

B. Of course, you can't go Night Lords without a Raptor Chaos Lord. Let's forego the Lightning Claw and instead have a Chainfist. Something that's going to hurt, make a lot of blood spray, and be terrifying to behold. In his other hand, a plasma pistol, because of course. On the Astra Militarum side, a brave Ministorum Priest, desperately trying to will his men to new heights of valor against this terrifying foe. Classic Chainsword and Bolt Pistol, or maybe some sort of Hand Flamer would be really neat.

C. For troops, it's pretty obvious. Chaos Marines on one side, Platoon on the other.

D. For the other units, let's throw the classic Raptors on the Night Lords side and have them supported by a super scary Venom Crawler! Then, on the Astra Militarum side, a Chimera to transport the troops and a Heavy Weapons Team, giving the feeling that these troops are desperately entrenched against a foe they don't want to be entrenched with.

I'd call it... Fear and Faith.

you know I think this would actually be my favourite too. That's just the perfect box right there.

Necrons vs. Legion of the Damned: Beyond Death!

Necron:
HQ - Bog standard Overlord. Maybe a new pose or something.
Troops: 10x Immortals. Forgebane had the right idea, so let's do that but more so.
Special Unit: 10x Pariahs! Bring back the old Warp-B-Gone, give 'em some fluff about being made of Noctolith-alloyed Necrodermis, let 'em loose!

LotD:
HQ: Damned Captain. Brand new, Primaris-scale model, with all the fancy gubbins on sprue to really customize your model.
Elites: 10 Damned Legionnaires. Likewise, new models, better scale, fancy options.
Special Unit: Two LotD Dreadnoughts! Big fancy sculpt, flashy new rules, the whole nine yards.

Scrap of Fluff: Necrons are putting up Pylons to block Warp travel into one of their domains, which lies inside a vital Warp lane. The area is almost completely undefended due to neighboring conflicts, but only almost...
Reason: Necrons need anti-psyker units, LotD need new models but don't warrant a codex, why not both?

Then what on earth are you asking for? No, I genuinely don't know what you are saying here. Space Hulk got an updated release in 2014, and has some of the nicest Terminator and Genestealer models available even today. This is like me asking for a Deathwatch vs Genestealers box - uh yeah, Deathwatch overkill was around the same time. Are you just asking for another run of Space Hulk so you can buy it again? I think you've missed the point of this thread.

I told you there was a current box for Space Hulk in my first post, and you responded snootily to that too, it's not my fault you didn't bother checking?
