It was a limited edition run. Hence why I asked if what you are asking for is another Space Hulk run, so that you could buy it again.

Honestly, no. I'd like another run of it myself to be honest, I missed it back in 2014 too. Though, I don't think it's what OP was asking.

I would for sure join the Tau v Tyranid hype train. I would also love a Tau v Necron set. Basically, Tau v Anyone would be awesome.

On that same train, I would love a Sisters v Someone box whenever that new model line drops. I promised I would buy sisters if they ever came out in plastic. So I need a cost-effective way to do that lol.

I wasn't asking for Space Hulk per se, just suggesting a Terminators vs Genestealers box could be fun. Maybe it could have some new 40K missions around space hulk boarding etc.

I know the IoM are the "main characthers", but for the love of god we long passed the point of absurdity that the "backfoot loosing last stand of humanity" has more stuff than everyone else combined.

Red Sisters of battle vs Black Sisters of Battle.

Released after the full plastic line comes out, each side of the box has a completely different, non-overlapping content along with including 2 totally new HQ models (one for each side) in addition to a generic Canoness and a generic Prioress. All at significant discount.

This way I could buy 20ish boxes of these and save a buttload of cash on building a huge sisters army

I would say it's impossible but we just had a Khorne Daemons vs Slaanesh Deamons box so I guess anything is possible.

My dream box would be:

GSC vs Adeptus Mechanicus

GSC side:
Acolyte iconward
abberants
clamavus
10 acolyte hybrids
wich ~translates to 300-320 points melee focused


Admech side:
tech priest manipulus
Kataphron breachers
skitarii
the new transport
wich would translate to ~320 more shooty focused

I think this would be a reasonable balanced box
(and people that want to kitbash their GSC to a more admech variant instead of a IG type can go nuts)

Depends on how you define "more stuff" and "everyone else combined". On raw numbers Tyranids, Orks, and Daemons probably have them beat, if you define "everyone else combined" as top-level factions rather than specific factions the Eldar definitely can compete on number of different unit choices. And it's sort of a silly argument when GW's focus on the Imperium of Man ends up having them do self-contained Codexes for things like the Adeptus Custodes (never more than ten thousand) or the Space Wolves (Adeptus Terra dislikes using that gene-seed to make successors, which means there might be two or three thousand floating around). If you applied that level of granularity to the Eldar you might get "Codex: Dire Avengers".

You could go historical and do a Place of Union box. New Kroot Carnivore/Hound/Krootox/Shaper box, new Knarloc box, plus Fire Warriors and an Ethereal versus some updated more modern Orks.

The original xenos conflict, orks Vs eldar. Two very different armies, both in look and style, for a nice contrast.
Chuck in some new boys and rangers, new autarch skyrunner would be nice too.
Humanity gets more than enough love, give the other two of the original trinity a turn in the spotlight.

I like the imperial vs traitor guard. Do a planetary civil war where the AM stationed there fight the pdf.

On a greedy take I'd go for drukhari vs emperors children.

New DE HQ that acts like a lt.

Steel Legion vs Orks

New plastic sculpts for steel legion - 10 man Infantry Squad and a 5 man Company Command Squad box, give them a Chimera, and maybe a unit of Ogryn, to break up the monotony of a bunch of regular infantrymen.

Orks could get a new customizable Warboss, maybe one in Mega Armor, toss in some Meganobs, a unit of Ork Boyz, and maybe one of the new buggies.


Xenos vs Xenos - Ideally involving Tyranids, Orks, or Tau (Ork v. Tau, Octarian Wars, splinter fleet entering Tau space, etc)

Tau: a new unit of Mercs (new Kroot, plastic Vespids, Tarellians, etc), Merc HQ (one that matches the type of merc), and then base the rest of the kit on existing Tau proper units that will complement the mercs so it isn't a hodgepodge mess (a Tau HQ, then possibly a tank, or suits, etc depending)

Nids: Hive Tyrant, Tyranid Warriors, possibly a new low tier troop unit based somewhat on the xenos they are facing in the box, plastic Lictor.

Orks: Plastic customizable Warboss, in light armor/'eavy armor, Nobs, a Battlewagon, and a unit of Killa Kans

Any way we can do a matt ward necrons & blood ravens vs tyranids?

Some decent suggestions but one thing you also need to consider is how many of these boxes would sell...

well this is a "dream" list so I assume most people are ignoring that.

I'd be curious to know how well forge Bane did. that's really our biggest indicator if there's demand for a "marineless box set"

Eldar Corsairs versus Rogue Traders

For the loot and the glory!

HQs: 1 dynamically posed Corsair Prince with a fabulous set of wings. Opposed by: 1 fabulous Rogue Trader with a choice of archaeotech weapons.

Troops: 10 Corsair Reavers with lasblasters and a brace of pistols and a felarch with the option of dual wielding blast pistols. Opposed by: 10 armsmen with a choice of shotguns, pistols and riot shields, or laslocks.

Special: 1 plastic Hornet, as per the forge world kit. Opposed by: 1 plastic Arvus Lighter, as per the forge world kit

I'd love to see something Coven-focused, so maybe:

with the Groteseques being new plastic versions.

Let's try to imagine a beefier Tau force to match that, something like:

Grots so it's a legal patrol

Theme is basically one really heavy unit responding to scouts spotting another really heavy unit.

Long Fangs & Wulfen Vs something i'm not sure as the Inquisition will use GK, SOB or deathwatch for their elites and heavy sup. Some GK units would make the narrative work.
