It's a shame they wasted Mads Mikkelsen as a throwaway villain in Doctor Strange, he's always been my ideal cast for Doom.
Mark Strong is a decent pick, certainly has the charisma but if you're throwing in Latveria as well, might be weird to have such a clearly English actor in the role (yes, he went American for Shazam, but a) same problem and b) that was not a very convincing accent!  )

The short film "hail to the king" ends with Trevor being broken out of prison and "kidnapped" by the real Mandarins henchmen.

Wouldn't it be possible, depending on the way the character is introduced, to have a Darth Vader situation going on with Doom? IE, separate physical and voice performance?

Theoretically, and I'd totally be up for that as I do enjoy the versions of Doom where the mask never comes off. Would also be a nice antidote to the on/off nanotech masks that everyone and their mums have these days!

Well if Doom is done anything like more recent Marvel films, Doom's mask will vanish every time he has to deliver a line of dialogue.
