And maybe get Star Wars Legion

My objective is to finally get an army painted after I sold my collection a couple of years ago.

Luckily Iyanden Eldar are a rather quick to paint force, so I'm confident I'll get my first 8th edition game done in 2020!

My 2020.

Paint my remaining CSM. (2 full 2000 pts, nearly done.)
Paint my R&H fodder. that is left over (about 60).

Dystopian Wars is a good fleet game. Its still supported. Spartan Games, the original designers went bust but another company picked it up.

I'm aiming to finish my Death Guard and have a fully painted army for the first time after I bought AOBR

Only got one metal DP, two helbrutes, five marines, 1 PBC, 1 predator and 1 LR left.

No specific goals in mind, but I aim to paint more vehicles this year. I have loathed painting them in the past, but i’m at a point where my armies are getting so infantry heavy they look silly (110 Primaris Crimson Fists with 1 Repulsor and 3 Redempter dreads, 95 Deathwatch vets with 1 Venerable Dread and 2 Razorbacks etc.)

I have sat waiting for assembly and paint:

2 Repulsors (Crimson Fists)
1 Razorback (Deathwatch)
1 Corvus Blackstar (Deatchwatch)
~8 Chaos Rhinos (Death Guard and Emperors Children)

I plan to at least get them all done once the weather changes and I can get around to undercoating.

My goal is to not start any new armies, and not buy new miniatures until I have at least finished assembling the ones I have.







I will fail. Badly.

"Paint more than I buy” has been one of my annual goals for a while now. I think it’s more achievable then a hard cap (that you know you are going to fail). Plus it helps as a source of motivation to reduce the grey hordes.

I'm getting back into Warhammer after having sold all my stuff a couple of years ago.

Plan is to finish a 2000pt Tyranid army as well as a 2000pt mawtribes army for age of sigmar.
Then I also want to finish my Warhammer Underworlds factions.

With the new Sabbat crusade book coming out and my recent discover that the forgeworld index contains rules for renegade militias, I've decided to make myself an army of Blood Pact.

Good news is that Max Minis makes a head swap for the Blood Pact. The bad news is that they are potentially closing at the end of 2019. So buy now.

Assemble Warcry starter set, Adeptus Titanicus Grandmaster Edition and Aeuranotica Imperialis.

Not much.

I'm gonna try and finish all the marines in my Templars army. Prolly not terminators, assault marines, or my remaining 2 tanks and drop pods (mostly a logistical thing), but I really, really want to try to clear that great marine backlog albatross. Not buying anything this year until I eat into the unfinished swathe a bit harder.

2020 Objective:

Forge ahead with the Eldar army.

I am currently on a grand old building rampage so far: 24 storm guardians, 10 guardians and 25 Dire avengers done this week. Before the end of the year I hope to keep going until all of my infantry is strirpped/ built/based/primed:

Got: 10 wraiths, 2 wraith lords, 10 banshess, 5 scorpions, 10 spiders, 5 fire dragons, 8 shadow specters, 10 guardians, AOK, Asurmen & jain Zar to go.

Unfortunately Im still waiting to complete my house purchase so my man-cave/hobby room is still somewhere over the horizon :( hence doing so much infantry. Easier to store

I would never set such an unobtainable goal/limit for myself.
If I did I'd never get any of the cool minis or be able to play new games that're to be released in the coming year(s). If I did I'd be stuck in 1989 or something.

I make $$$, I buy models, I build models. I do paint. 3 of these things occur at infinitely faster rates than the other.....

I plan to finally paint my Alpha Legion Primaris Marines... In addition I want to build a T'au Suits Army (relying on the 'small' suits - not using Riptides and stuff)

I'm currently going to undertake the following in 2020:

1. Finish off painting the remainder of my primaris force, which is roughly 2500pts at this point.

2. Undertake my first foray into chaos, specifically Alpha Legion and some Chsos Knights. Aiming for a combined force of 1500pts to begin.

3. Await the rest of the Sisters of Battle releases. I have the boxed set, but I'm planning to wait until the ranfe is fully released before I collect.

I’m working on getting my custom marine chapter painted up, using an od green primary color.

Is this which NEW army I’ll be starting in 2020 or which army I’m going to finish?

I’ll continue to add to my Ultras and Eldar, maybe another unit for the Deathwatch to get them a little more viable stand-alone. Short term plans is the SC: vanguard marines for the shadowspear stuff, and a box of banshees when I can get them alone.

And as always, the slow churn of moving things from the pile of shame to the to-prime pile, then the primed and ready shelf, and at last collecting dust on the display shelves. It’s an endless cycle that mostly keeps me out of trouble.

I'm pumped that I'll get to watch your SoB project! That's obviously one of mine...

I don't like Dystopian Wars's models. Only the German fleet looks remotely ship like, and even then all their ships have really unattractive like circular sterns.

Also, the british ships look french.
