I believe GW has ended its partnership with B&N. It seems to have moved on after 5 years and has partnered with Target.

Marine one was previewed before for sure. Less sure about rest

According to the linked article Combat Arena: Lair of the Beast will be sold through B&N.

Combat Arena is not out yet, right? Not seeing it on the Thalia.de site

EDIT: Found it for preorder, but it might not be possible to order outside of Germany? I mean I don't understand deutsch, but red rectangles and grayed out "Place Order" buttons are never a good sign..

Yes, it says it can't be shipped to the chosen country.

No idea why since I'm not familiar with the company. Maybe GW's terms and conditions prevent it even if they usually ship to other countries?

Since the new Combat Arena is now out, I wanted to share a tip for other people looking for these models. Elbenwald in Germany has the product in stock, and actually ships to other countries (such as Finland).

Just bought a copy of the game, paid an extra 10€ for shipping which seems aight. Ambulls on ebay for 170€, no thanks! Scalpers can go suck an egg

I've pre-ordered on Thalia (but I'm in Germany so I've been lucky).
I'm really glad the ambul is back! I've already got two models and they are so much fun to paint, and great for all kinds of encounters in a sci-fi setting. I hope I can slightly repose it with some greenstuff. The game is also a great opportunity to introduce friends into the 40k setting without needing to explain the 40k game rules.
The adventurers will be turned into an inquisitor with retinue for some boarding actions or kill Team.

Great tip!

Wow, the Ambull game with all the BSF heroes thrown in is only 30€? I'm sure just the Ambull was more than that originally...

If they ever release a game with the Zoat and make it region locked I will burn all my plastic

The prices on ebay are a joke for these iconic minis.

Saw the Space Marine 2 game in Target a couple days back. $50 for one marine and a bunch of termagants? Can't see how'd that even be any fun, and the price point is just, ugh.

$40, and it is a marine and 20 termagants.

I feel old but I’m having trouble telling from the tiny pictures, are the termagants the old sculpts or new?

It has the new Termagant scuplts that come in Levithan and the Titus model is nice.

It also comes with a nice 22x30 two sided game board.

Pretty nice for $40 USD

Apparently Combat Arena is delayed in the US?

I searched for it on Barnes and Noble's website and it's not there. It's the only one I want- I missed the Ambull when it was released for BSF.

With how expensive the leaks for what the new Termagants and Hormagaunts are for the Nid wave release, this is frankly a better way to get the new models if you want Termagants than just getting the regular boxes.

I got a box of space marinefor the termagants and plan to spread out the alternate arms from the new multipart kit to them.

Assuming you want them with Fleshborers as I am pretty sure that there is no weapon sprue with other options.

Sometimes?

Try living in another (non-capitalism / non-democratic) country for a year buddy.

I was referring to how exclusive models are often released at Warhammer fests that aren’t exactly easy to go to when they’re in the UK. Or how some models from the space marine heroes only released in Japan.

It's not supposed to be out until September 1st (or the 2nd in-store).

I picked up several copies under the assumption that the weapon sprue will come with 10x devourers and 10x spinefists, on top of the specialty guns. Just need cheap extra bodies to take advantage of those excess weapons.

I bet that the only box that has a weapons sprue is the Termagant box so technically buying a single box of Termagants allows you to arm two squads of ten Termagants coming from other boxes (for example from starter set or this boardgame etc.).

I’ve not built my indominus gaunts on the hope that the full kit can spread some of the new weapons to the basic guys. We will find out when we get sprue pics. Hopefully. Depends how things are set up, we might need to wait for the instructions.

WarCom article says ''The multitudinous foot soldiers of the Tyranid swarm get some love, as the revitalised Termagants first seen in the Leviathan boxed set get a bonus sprue of special weapons.'' so IMO it means that you can simply add non fleshborers to the basic Termas from Leviathan etc.

It shouldn’t make a difference, but with GW’s trend of certain guns only working on specific bodies, and options sharing parts, who knows. I’ll feel better with the full picture.

I’m less worried about the old optional guns, and more about the new ones they are (re)introducing.

The Leviathan, Space Marine, and retail Termagants are literally the same sprues with the only difference being that the retail version has additional sprues with the new guns. They're literally the same models.

I’m not saying it’s a rational worry, just one I have.

GW’s pretty inventive with making things restrictive. It probably won’t be an issue, but who knows. Anything that’s “whole squad can take” should be fine. But if there are one-in-a-box options, that would be irritating. Especially how 10th does upgrades.

Just got my german copy of Combat Arena delivered. I've not really got any plans to play it as the game, but it is a bit of a pity couldn't get an english lang version

I had one in my basket from the German site, then remembered it would actually be in German, so didn't go for it in the end...
