Another awesome army blog Tek, are you sure you’ve been out of the hobby!? absolutely love the SoM and their bright green armour, that ink over zenithal was working great guns and now the blended highlights on the dreads are lovely too that desert camo is looking fantastic as well. Was that an ink over zenithal too?

Haha, you're too kind! I've been in and out of this hobby so many times over the past few years. But there really has been a gap since about 2021. Thanks so much for your comments on the Dread - real, actual blends are new to me and I'm keen to explore them more in this and my Death Guard armies.

The desert camo isn't ink. It's AK Interactive dirty yellow, but it is applied over the same zenithal so some of the undershading is retained. Then it's highlighted up to AK Interactive pale yellow, up to Vallejo ice yellow for the highlights.

I’m loving this old school revival project. I’ve recently picked up a small force of First Born to revive the old company of Marines I sadly sold years ago. That RT dread looks awesome! Lovely work throughout.

I love the green and the freehand, but I love these guys the most:

The old camo patterns are so cool, Its a shame they stopped doing them. great work, but I want to see MOAR of them!
