Thanks a lot muette for your comment! Glad you like my stuff!

Thanks you very much gobert! The dread turned out a little more gritty than intended because I apparently forgot to thin down my wash mix appropriately. I think it still looks okay, so long as it fits in with the other units. See below for more!
CHALLENGE COMPLETE!
Alright friends, time for a final update here! As you know, the challenge ended on May 9th, and of course I quickly headed down to my
FLGS to hand in the picture and claim my rewards. I actually managed to get the final sqaud of Grey Knights to a tabletop-ready standard and make them count towards
th challenge. So ultimately, in the end, I managed to complete 56 miniatures in total! Hooray!

Let's take a quick look at the squad:
This is the second set of Purifiers I painted, and together they make up a ten man squad for the new Combat Patrol. I almost have everything together for that, except the new Castellan Crowe model. Might need to head over to the
FLGS again to oder one at some point, but we'll see. Here's a reverse shot of the squad:
Once again, I added a very quick and simple
OSL effect to the generator things on the backpacks, which helps make the minis pop. I've also taken some individual shots of the models:
So as I mentioned, this final set of minis I managed to squeeze in before the deadline took me to 56 models painted in total. That means that I earned two of the possible three rewards, the pin badge and the water pot stand! While I'm not too excited about the latter, the former is actually a pretty nifty trophy for my painting efforts this year, and for reminding me of my growth as a hobbyist during this time. Yay!

I even started to modify the pin badge with some cloth strips to simulate a sort of "purity seal" appearance:
I'm considering putting it on my backpack when it is finished, but I think I should first add some writing on it too. We'll see. Anyways, as this is likely one of my last posts in this thread, I want to take this moment to thank all of you for following along and encouraging me throughout the whole process. I really appreciate every single one of your comments, and I'm very thankful to have such a positive and supportive community here to share my stuff with. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH lovely people! Oh and
btw, I've decided to create a
dedicated thread for my Grey Knights since I actually finished quite a lot of them during the past few months. So if you enjoyed what I showed off here, I'd encourage you to check that out as well.
Thanks again for checking out this thread! Hopefully, I'll be seeing you again in others, such as my Battle for Macragge restoration project which I'll be getting back to next. Byeeeee!
