Hey folks, some people have been asking if we're still alive. We are indeed and have spent the winter working on some of our biggest and coolest stuff ever, but nothing ready to unveil yet.

On the side we're refining our stucco style ork huts:

More stuff to come!

More small works (by our standards at least!) until we catch up on our major project logs.

Growing weary of seeing people comment that the hills in our first tutorial were not easy to actually play on, I decided to whip out some flattish plateau-style hills, then I got carried away playing with erosion effects, then I just had to stick a tower on top.

Several! We have huge fortresses, display boards, fighting arenas and much, much more. I just hardly have time to update project logs, expect a new thread soon with new goodies to showcase, and updated project logs on some of the biggies we're working on.

Who said that? HERESY.

I followed your tutorial and the minis stand on the hill just fine.

I would love to see how they look! Many people enjoyed our hill-tutorial, but there has been an equal amount of feedback that they seem impractical for game play. I should have shown more examples of how you can modify the design to make the hills look any way you like!

I'll post photos in my P&M blog when i have the time to take them (and I suck at photography so I let my professional photographer friends take photos for me). And thanks to that tutorial, now my hills look like, well, actual hills and not multi-layered landforms. They're not impractical at all if you design them right: don't make the slopes too steep and models can stand on it just fine.
