No one knows if Russ is alive, but given the fact that he's been stranded alone in the Warp for 10,000+ years, he's more likely dead than alive.
And several Primarchs are M.I.A., and even so, DP are equal to Primarchs, so them returning would be more of a morale thing than anything ekse.
Guilliman is the only loyal Primarch that is alive 100% for sure.
And I am pretty sure the only ones that can't be argued to be alive are Sanguinius and Ferrus Manus.
http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Primarch
Rogal Dorn is alive? Better tell the Fists to give him back his skeletal hand and apologize for all the names carved into it then...
EDIT: Wow, that wikia sure is full of crap. Rogal Dorn's skeletal hands, his armour and weapons are recovered, he's explicitly stated to be dead and yet he's "missing"?
There are numerous stories about Dorn's death, but none are canon. He was in an enourmous explosion that blew his hand into orbit, true, but Angron had a mountain fall on him and dug his way out unscathed. Fulgrim punched khaine in the face. Primarchs are almost unkillable. The only stupid Primarch death was Conrad Kurze being killed by an unaugmented, human assassin.
"Rogal Dorn, the Imperial Fists' Primarch, was a tenacious and steadfast warrior whose final moments were of courage and supreme sacrifice." C: SM pg. 27. According to Index Astartes II (sorry, don't have it on me so can't quote the page) he died on the Despoiler-class battleship Sword of Sacrilege and his remains were recovered. According to the novel "Space Marine", released in 1993 and as such one of the earliest pieces of fluff available, Rogal Dorn's skeleton is kept in a chapel, surrounded by amber formed like Dorn himself. I don't know about you, but when you've got your Primarch's skeleton in, essentially, a jar, I'd say he's pretty damn dead!

The avatar is one of thousands of shards of khaine is the Eldar ever figure out how to put those shards together there's going to be a lot of butt hurt for their enemies. Plus the fact that he throws melta fire balls just makes him that much more awesome.
Not really, considering the fact that he/all the other Eldar gods were torn to shreds by the weakest Chaos God, I think that Khorne could rape khaine in the ass, except that he would probably keep him as a pet, since they're so similar.

It would be close. The Daemonbane rule states that any Psyker or Daemon who takes a wound and fails a leadership test is removed as a casualty. I'm pretty sure that ability ignores instant death.
Draigo and the Bloodthirster would go simo. Bloodthirster hits on 3+ wounds on 2+ and has 1 more attack. Draigon hits on 4+, rerolls misses, (should land 3 attacks per round), wounds on 2+, and has a 3+ invul save to the Bloodthirster's 4+.
Bloodthirster should do 0.93 unsaved wounds per round, Draigo should do 1.25. I think the Bloodthirster only has about a 6% chance to fail his Leadership test.

Did you not read the story next to Kharn in the CSM codex? He's killing brother berzerkers, I don't think he would even delay in cutting off the head of one who embraces the weak god of Slaanesh.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd

The minions of Slaanesh are no less powerful than the other minions of Chaos, there are simply less of them, and that is the only reflection on Slaanesh inferior power. By codex:
Chaos Daemons ->
Skarbrand
Ku'gath
Chaos Space Marines ->
Abaddon
Kharn
Lucius
Dark Eldar ->
Asdrubael Vect
Drazhar
Lelith Hesperax
Eldar ->
Asurmen
Prince Yriel
Orks ->
Ghazghkull Thraka
Space Marines ->
Marneus Calgar
Lysander
Blood Angels ->
Sanguinor
Mephiston
Space Wolves ->
Logan Grimnar
Tyranids ->
The Swarmlord
Grey Knights ->
Draigo
I think out of those Abaddon, Grimnar, Calgar, Skarbrand, and Draigo are the deadliest in game.

on that list? I voted Lelith Hesperex. She is the head of one of the most prominant wych cults in an enviroment that makes Catachan look like a cake walk. When one is able to decapitate 12 other warriors of near equal value with a single acrobatic flare, one has ascended beyond mortal ability to fight.

I doubt she could ever rule the Dark City, while she could be a better politician, she doesnt have the one thing that Space Pimp Vect has:
Respect
Which is possibly the only thing keeping his allies standing between him, and enough assassins to quell a Ghazzy's WAAAGH.
