Still waiting on my Storm Talon cockpit arriving but messed around with yet another head mock up. I really dont have a lot of time but I try and grab half an hour here and there.

The head looks great, Bio. I really like the dread sarcophagus bit. It really gives you sense of just how big this thing is!

@Yellowbeard, he is pretty big. This version has parts from a LR side sponson, land speeder nose, Dread sarcophagus, Rhino Dozer blade, Vindicator side armour, Baal Pred ammo feed, Defiler plates. And that's just the head

@ Rawson, I was planning on adding the single magna grapple eye again. For the Dread gap I was thinking of adding a grille type bit to resemble a marine Vox. I'll have a play about though.

I definitely like where the head is going! I agree that you should definitely stick with the single eye.

Actually thought about your Titan when I was reading the current issue of WD: One of the battle reports has a three-up Bloodletter's head used in some terrain. That thing would look sooo awesome as a Titan head...

As he walked along the corridor the sound of his boots ringing out on the latticework beneath his feet his sense of anticipation grew. He knew he approached 'The Pit' The bowels of the Harvester of Sorrow, where the mighty daemon engines were kept, shackled and bound.

As he entered the vast hanger he saw the one he seeked. Among the howling and screaming of the other machines one alone stood out. Whilst the others fought at their shackles this one stood silent and unflinching. 

The Champion looked into the grimacing skull visage of his former master. Though it's mask was emotionless he could still feel the barely contained rage emanating from the giant machine. It's power claws detached and hanging motionless at its side on great chains. Too dangerous for the machines to be fully armed while in transit. The 12th had learnt that the hard way. 

Skull Champion Krixus turned to the serfs at the control panels in the far corner of the room. His helmet vox adding a grinding metallic edge to his voice as it boomed across the hanger.
'Captain Deimos has requested that this one be re armed and activated by the time we make planet fall. I trust it will be done.'

 The serfs immediately dropped what they were working on and set to work on their own specified task to bring the dreadnought back up to operational standard, they knew that to fail meant their skulls would soon join the thousands of others in Lord Deimos' throne room. 

As the stimulants and combat drugs were pumped into the Dreadnoughts circulatory system Krixus turned his attention back to the machine. He placed one gauntleted hand on the symbol on the Dreadnoughts shoulder and whispered 'Soon my Brother,soon you will bring the fight to the hated astartes. Our god has willed it and we are his instruments of bloodshed, our weak brethren will quake in fear for they will soon know to face you is to face certain destruction.' 

As Krixus turned to walk from the hanger he heard one more voice, among the crazed screams, louder and more brutal than the rest, he heard a mighty feral roar. Ululating and echoing from the cavern like walls. 

Krueger the Undying had awoken.

Why not weaponize the head? Stick a supa-melta in there or a flamestorm cannon or something. Seems like Chaos would prefer to have as much KILL in their Titans as possible, and leaving a limb out of the fun would just be a shame.

Speaking of Deimos and the Dread, though: Those would be two very worthwile projects to complete as well, don't you think?

I am really looking forward to seeing those guys. Painted a Lord in Terminator armour myself recently. It's hard work, but it's totally worth it!

Lol. Im just wanting to get the models I have built finished before I work on anymore. Im getting a little sick of looking at grey and green plastic sitting on my shelf. I also want to get them done before the release of the 6th boxset. If the models in that are any good I intend on buying a copy. Who knows I may even start playing lol

How about a couple of Reapers either side of the 'mouth'? Ive been wanting to use them for a while since they look so cool. They could be a nice Anti Infantry weapon.

This isnt much of an update, I had planned on finishing these guys up before work today but I realised about 10 mins ago my pot of Blood red has completely dried up. Just to show some progress though. Krueger finally has some paint on him. Its only been about 14 months since I started him lol

I really like what you're doing with the Titan, and the rest of the army in general, but I was wondering how the Titan looks with it's arms on? Seeing how they looked before, I'm wondering if they match the body?

Titan conversion looks amazing! Love the detail it has in the legs which definitely shows you've put a lot of time and effort in choosing the right parts for building this beast. Really looking forward to seeing it finished up and painted!

Brotheralexos, the original arms were scrapped a while back Im going to hav another look at them shortly. Im still looking for decent parts to use.

Eggroll, thanks for stopping by mate I am in sheer awe of your BA army. Thanks for the comment on the legs. They took a good few months to put together as I dont actually work to any kind of plan I just look at bits and kinda dryfit them in my head. A lot of the times I know bits 'will' work together Im just not always sure 'how' theyre going to work lol. The head has been giving me problems for a while as I feel its probably one of the most important elements of the model and I dont want to half ass it. The torso is also just a bare skeleton at the moment it will be detailed a lot more in the future.

Worked on the back vents and sides a bit more. I need to gs the waist magnet in place as it keeps breaking the glue and flying towards the torso anytime I get the torso within a few inches. I damn near *%#* myself the first time it happened.

Ok first off an apology, Ive went and built ANOTHER fething head!! This is going to be the final base though save some details being added/gaps filled, i am sick of building heads so this will do lol although I may remove the vent on the sides and stick some weapons in there, possibly a couple of flamers. <_< Anywhoo I thought Id show where Im at. Ive also just finished building my Star Phantoms scouts so will work on getting some paint on them in the morning.

I really like this new head, it fits together in a way the others did not

Thanks for the replies guys. The head is almost at the stage where I can start to GS it, my job is kicking my ass again though as I work in a squad of 6 and 3 are off sick at the moment so the remainder of us are having to cover all the duties. Updates will hopefully be sooner rather than later.

Kraut like I say work is really killing me at the moment with double duties I'm working between 10 and 14hr shifts in a 7 day block. By the time I get my days off I'm exhausted. One saving grace is the overtime pay. Looking forward to what you've come up with Termi wise mate.

Phew, that sounds terrible Hope your colleagues get well soon! With that amount of work, it won't be long until the rest of you end up on sick leave as well Keeping my fingers crossed that things get better soon!
