Cheers Archer. I am really pleased!! It's taking a while to complete but wirth it. Not rushing anything. Base will be fairly built up I think but done in dark greys but some deep metals. Nothing too bright or garish so it'll contrasst nicely with the knight. Leasting, thats the plan!!

Started on the kataphrons. Primary metals are done. That takes a while. The livery base coats for the converted Kat carrier are done as well. Beginning to look smart

getting there. pretty sweet figs to paint. few buggery areas like inbetween the rollers in the tracks but overall pretty cool. love the massive cannons

Knight isn't finished yet Bottle. Far from it, but really happy with how it's looking. Looking forward to doing the freehand heraldry I've drawn out (somewhere a few pages back in this thread) Just taking a wee break from it to do the Kats. The carrier Kat is coming along nicely. Colour panels are based and washed now. Threw the Dominus onto the platform to make sure the big lunk fits!!!

Cheers Zerg. Yeah ....they are pretty fiddly, especially the Ironstrider model. Fiddliest model EVER!!! but they're so worth it. New admech stuff is the business

after these Kats.....finish up the Orphan's Wrath the freeblade and base him with hacked up bits'n'pieces.....then........squad of skit rangers I think. That'll be me out of AdMech stuff then until December...when all the FW stuff I ordered ages ago will arrive with Mum from Ireland. Thanatar, Hector Rex, some tech priests and a squad of guardian automata!!! Achyls III forgeworld is getting its guns together

@Archer - that's one of the standard loadouts. Kat Destroyers get either that one, a heavy grav gun or a plasma culverin which is slightly......larger!

Up at stupid'o'clock to get some Sunday painting on the go. That's the lead Kat's primary paintjob finished. Guy's looking pretty spanky!! Will go back and finish his lenses, eye, chipping and weathering and highlights at the end when the other two Kats are at the same stage. Great fun (medium fiddly) figs to paint. Hope yez like him
