As the title says: Does an immobilized Trukk still Kareen? The argument that was put forth was that the Kareen rule says that you move the Trukk "as far as possible." Well, if it is immobilized, then it can't move; thus, you moved it as far as possible. Any thoughts?

Playing chess doesn't require skill, it just requires you to be good at chess...

...that would be a skill

Yes, it still kareens. I think. Maybe. Possibly.

It's not very clear if you haven't noticed!

In all seriousness, it isn't 100% clear. Make a note of mentioning it pre game.

Inside a pretty, pretty pain cave... won't you come inside?

The way I play it is that if the vehicle was already immobilized BEFORE being wrecked and rolling on the ramshackle table, then it does not move. If the immobilization happened during the same round of shooting, then it does, since it was all simultaneous. As Gwar stated, no clear ruling and you can argue both ways, but that's how I've always played it, just to be consistent.

I can just imagine an Ork driver in an immobilised Trukk, gunning the engine trying to get back into the action - just to have an incoming impact knock something back "right", kareen off at speed, and then consequently explode.

Can't help with the actual rule interpretation though :( See better posters above

The immobilized Trukk still Kareens. But it's only going to kareen 0" because that's as far as it can go.

The rulebook says that an immobilized vehicle can't move. Since Kareen specifies "as far as possible", then it doesn't override the movement restrictions (or any of the other vehicle movement rules), and the vehicle doesn't move.

But maybe someone can come up with a convincing argument that "as far as possible" only applies some of the vehicle rules, and not others.

How far can a Fast vehicle Possibly go?

Can an Ork trukk subject to the Kareen rules move through a unit of Ork boyz?

If that's enough to limit "as far as it can go", then immobilized limits the Kareen movement as well.

A fast vehicle can possibly go 18". A (fast) immobilized vehicle can possibly go 0".

It Kareens 0".

RAW, Trukks never Kareen. The damage table results they refer to no longer exist.

(kareen trukks that can move, don't kareen immobilised trukks)

This would be the most accurate, if ignored, description of the RAW for Ramshackle.
