So another distraction and other projects being put on hold...again, with the upcoming plastic juggernauts I can finally realize my Thunderwolf army without spending 30 euro's per Juggernaut.

I don't like any of the big wolves in miniatureland, on their own some models are awesome but put a space marine on them and it looks like something I can't describe as kids might be reading this.

I'm planning to build 16 Thunderjuggerwolfnauts.... :wtf: ok "thunderwolves"

Canis is currently W.I.P, and I am hoping to get my hands on plastic juggs ASAP!!

As I never got to create a chaos list of my liking I decided to
Use the space wolf list and use/convert chaos models, the jugg obviously being khorne, my grey hunters will be Nurgle and I haven't though about what mark/or not to give to my scouts.

All together ill have to build
16 juggs
3 razorback
15 greyhunters
5 scouts
and 3 wolfguard

I'm not good with logs/Blogs, I never seem to finish painting and that's required for log/blog

Delicious, but is there anything you could do for a stirrup of some kind? The feet look a little odd just dangling there.

This has always been one of my favorite uses for the Space Wolves codex! I share the sentiment that there should be some sort of stirrups on this guy. The ab armor also puzzles me, but that's personal taste. Looks like a good start.

I made one too but converted the original Canis instead i still think it looks nice though

looks nice, have you thought about your scouts being a small alpha legion detachment, that would make sense i guess, also that model looks great only one complaint, the skull on the left claw looks "stuck on" id suggest removing it, filing down the back then sticking back on, keep up the good work

I don't like stirrup's for a Space Marine I think it looks silly, I more or less imagine Juggernaut riding marines to ride as Native Americans did.

I hope so too, unfortunately I get distracted by new projects very easy, I'm trying to finish painting my Wolf Wing before I finish this guy, as I prefer converting over painting...That's one tough challenge.

The AB armor is just because I think it looks good, I'm thinking about giving the squad he rides with to give them the BA Sang guard chests, to indicate their Elite status, his personal retenue or something alike.

The army will be a DIY Warband/legion called the Night Howlers, I thought of the name some years ago but never got to work on anything proper models/background/fluff etc.
Alpha Legion won't fit in this unfortunately, My scouts are based on Marauder body and upper legs and chaos power armour lower legs. (ill post some pics tonight)
I think they will end up undivided,

All bases are temp, i'm waiting for some nice resin bases to arrive.

Looks very good. great poses on the bottom GH. Just a bit more agile than I would have thought nurglians, but that just show my prejudice against the different forces of chaos

Overall very cool, I just hope the new juggers wont dwarf "Canis" metal beast, as often is the case with GWs new plastic stuff.

I really like the direction you're going with all of this. Can't wait to see it finished.

It's amazing how the SW and chaos kits go together. This may be why my wolf guard catch themselves accidentally yelling "blood for the blood god". It's all looking good, especially your "TWC". You'll probally be the first dude in line for the plastic blood crusher box.
