Pegasus Hobbies, fine makers of Gothic terrain have some new kits out. Of course they don't make them too easy to find on their website, as far as I can tell they're not listed at all only in this PDF catalogue. http://www.pegasushobbies.com/resources/pdf/09%20cat%20for%20pdf%20Doc1b.pdf First some models based on 60s, 70s space program concepts. Mercury 9 rocket Lunar/Mars explorer Then some public domain SF Slap some wings on that puppy and you have a perfect 40k space yacht. And some Martians. Of course they also have their gothic buildings, Galaxy Quests, War of the Worlds and other lines in the PDF.

Ha! That's an understatement!
They are ridiculously hard to find 'officially'!
Lunar/Mars explorer
This one looks GREAT!
Could be an awesome Adeptus Mechanicus thing, if done up right!
Nice find - and thanks!

Why on earth do they do that? I mean, finding the stuff shouldn't be that hard. I ended up getting half of it from Antenociti's Workshop and the other half from TheWarStore.

It COULD be they're mostly distributors and want people to buy from retailers. Or maybe they're just incompetent. I dunno. They sure do make nice stuff though.

Gonna pimp Squadron Mail Order here. They usually run deals on Pegasus' stuff.
I'm still looking for the Galaxyquest ship though.

The thing that should be pointed out about the Pegasus Gothic Building kits (all of them) is that they have two very nice features:
1. They fit with GW Cities of Death Terrain. Your average Pegasus building 'panel' is as wide as two CoD panels and is the same height, allowing for mixing and matching.
2. If you're not glueing them together with CoD stuff, they are completely modular. They do not require any glue (although gluing the internal pillars does give each piece some extra strength) and you can take them apart and put them back together as much as you like.
Great kits.

Its hard to be awesome, when your playing with little plastic men.
Welcome to Fantasy 40k
If you think your important, in the great scheme of things. Do the water test.
Put your hands in a bucket of warm water,
then pull them out fast. The size of the hole shows how important you are.
I think we should roll some dice, to see if we should roll some dice, To decide if all this dice rolling is good for the game.

Great kits.
But no roofs! In any of these kits! And the main Gothic building has just one door, so there are limits to modularity. Fine models though.
And yes, Squadron doesn't stock Pegasus at all.

Quick question on the Gothic Ruins...what sort of plastic?
Friend of mine had the builder system, and I wasn't enamoured by the 'wangy' plastic used. Is this the same plaggy used in all their kits?

It's a hard plastic, similar to GW's, they're a bit thicker than the CoD walls but you can wrok with them.

Plasticard does the job for me.
Squadron does stock some of their stuff but I think it's only the military kits, not the gaming.

I don't know about that the main building is just that the others are the add on bits to finish it.
The war store carries the kits if you need them
http://www.thewarstore.com/IMEXPlatformerHexagon.html this page has all 5 building kits if you include the bridge
