I'd never have guessed that even if you told me you wanted a Chaos Dwarf figure, they used to be all over the place at one time, especially the Lamasu.

My top wants that I keep looking out for are the four Space Zoats, an Ambull and the 54mm Inquisitor Genestealer.

I want an army of the original Imperial Guard plastics, those great minis with the blast goggle helms.

Masses and masses of em, in battleship grey with grey tigerstripe trousers.

I have a handful of those Imperial Guardsmen, with a few heavy weapons. I like them more than the current range. Less detail, but somehow more character. I know that makes no sense, but it is true.

My wishlist was:

Harlequins boxed set (got near mint box set, plus at least one of each and every one of the old metal Harlequins))
Harlequins jetbikes (got 27)
Thrud (got 4 of the 5 designs made)
Chaos Toilet (got)
Old Chaos Champions (got more than I know what to do with)
Enough Eldar to max out every singe unit I actually like in an FoC army.

A £50K+ income for a single guy + EBay = Childhood Dreams fulfilled

Probably all I want now might be some Mad Boyz, but they are more of a vague yearning than a must have.

I miss the craziness of the second edition Orks codex.

Hmm... good question! I can't think of any obvious "holes" in my armies, tho I suppose I could always use more metal Cadians to bulk out my Guard.

Makes perfect sense - globbing on detail until the model looks like it can't walk any more is not adding character.

Mine would have to be the Chaosette over the moon when I finaly found one unpainted on Ebay. Its now in my cabinet of untouchables ie no matter what I wont sell them along with the original HArbooths Black mountain boys.

hmmm.... what's with all the recent love of OOP models by new dakkites? i don't have a problem with it but it's a serious departure from previous web sentinent. there's usually just been a core group of old grognards that preferred the models so it's cool to see newer people appreciating them.

my fav are the the old 40k imperial army (not called guard back then) BEASTMEN. yup, you heard it right, they had beastmen.

It's because we old grognards started our armies with the old stuff, and need more old stuff so it all matches.

For me, it would be the Inq scale Genestealer, and the OOP Tzentian Disc Riders for 40k.

Man, everyone loves that Inquisitor scale Genestealer. (I do too by the way.)

Too bad the Inquisitor game was really only half made. They needed some points values on that beast to make it playable.

I just sold 90 of them for $1.80 a figure. :X

So I probably shouldn't mention that I got the 54mm Genestealer (missing an arm) as part of a $10 bitz lot, and it's currently sitting unused as a broodlord/tyranid prime with 500pts of genestealers.

My dream OOP model would be a full unit of the old metal Eldar Jetbikes, non-harlequin.
