my girlfriend is not really a warhammer fan,but sometimes when she sees a mini,shes like: oh my god,i want that one!!!(mostly when its pink )

eldar harlequins are some of those minis so i thought ill paint one for her birthday.

first of all i wanted it on a 60mm base.

pretty much standard basing plus marble effect on the plasticard:




with harlequin:






finished base:



if someones intrested in how i did it:

black undercoat
paint the sand/whatever used scorched brown,drybrush bestial brown followed by dheneb stone.

marble:

black undercoat
black/grey mix applied with a sponge
grey applied with a sponge
dheneb stone/grey mix applied with a sponge
the lines were painted with a very very thin mix of dheneb stone/grey

Huh, I liked it more as white/grass. Looked like pale marble or wraithbone. Much more contrast to show the Yingyang.

If she is a person who cherishes something you put true thought and heart into, im sure she will love it. I did something like this a few years back. It was to commemorate the birth of my daughter. It is a great idea! I look foward to your postd progress, the base turned out great

I was considering doing something like this for my gf's birthday or christmas. She's in no way a gamer, but she appreciates well painted models, and likes LotR films etc, now you've convinced me to do it!

Very cool base mate if you make the rest of the model look that good you will make her heart melt. (That was too soppy for my liking lol)
