Greetings chaps and chapettes, just a quick introduction to try and lure me out from my lurking. Right, are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin...

I started my miniature gaming when I was a youthful teenager way back in the 90s with MB & GW's collaboration piece Space Crusade. I even tried my hand at painting (if you could really call the abominations that I churned out 'painted'). After that I kinda gave up through a combination of little spare time and even less patience.

Jumping forward to today once more, I am older, wiser and thankfully a career in IT dealing with idiots has given me an abundance of patience. I recently (read: about 4 weeks ago) got back into miniature painting and set about working on an Ork army. I started with AoBR and also invested in the Ork Battleforce boxed set and got my shiney new brushes underway (I'll eventually post pics in a separate thread).

I play 'some' TT 40k, but perhaps not as much as I should. Regardless of the reasoning, it's definately the general Orkyness of Da Boyz that keeps my interest in the Warhammer universe. That said I also like to try my hand at any Warhammer PC game where I can be an Ork and generally shout Orky abuse at my screen / cat / whoever is unlucky enough to be in my flat at the time.

Currently re-subbed to Warhammer Online where I run an Orky RP guild called Da Ard Nobz, and look forward to getting the boyz to make the leap into the 41st century when Dark Millenium Online eventually comes out.

Guess that's about it for now. Expect some questions in the Painting and Modelling section and, eventually, some pictures of the boyz.
