That has to be the biggest Gargant I've ever seen...

Also, the Minas Morghul table is pretty damn awesome.

The huge gargant is by Mike at Showcase comics. Afterwards I asked where he was going to keep it, the answer was next to the 28mm Ork Kruza (10' long) which he was also bringing home.

This was a combined effort of show case comics and North east big gunz we all worked very hard on this so we have to go some kind of credit for it lol

Guess maybe I should have tried to make it this time around. Last year's fiasco pretty much turned me off this time around. Pity that...

We took a 24' trailer down to Games Day. Half full on the way down, and stuffed on the way back. GW gave us some of the older tables they weren't going to use any more, to put in the bunker, and then gave us the Kill Kruza. It's huge. We took off the front section and it was still 8' long! Between the Kruza, the Gargant, and alll the models we used on the tables, there's a lot of Waaaghh in the bunker right now. Apocalypse is going to be fun!

The guys in the club did an outstanding job. It was a huge amount of work getting the displays and models done. They were painting friday night in the hotel room on the last bitz. We're all looking forward to Chicago next year. May need a bigger truck.

Nicely painted army, that, but the display base is really throwing me off. Tiles + grass = massive loss of SoD. It's fine on a table, but on a custom display base the lack of consistency is a killer. :(

I never want to try to transport the kill kruzer anywhere, it took so much effort and time to move.

Chicago, end of July. They made the announcement towards the end of theday.

Yeah, unloading it in a rainstorm and finding out it didn't fit in the loading elevator even with half of it removed was horrifying! But we finally got it down to the bunker. First thing we're going to do is make it easier to assemble/disassemble, and pack up. It's orky, so I'll do the delicate work with a chainsaw.
