Sharp color scheme. The orange with yellow highlights really pops in my opinion. I also like the white shoulder guards and backpack highlights. It adds to the overall bright appearance of the army.

I am curious about the grey wings, crosses, etc... What was your reasoning behind choosing grey? Black seems too Halloweenie, white is probably too bright, a metallic would probably draw the eye away from the rest of the model, but what about mixing in some red, orange, and yellow to make the wings look like they are burning? I am just curious if you played around with any other colors.

Good work!

Dear Games Workshop,

Paper is totally over powered! I can't believe how badly you guys screwed up. Why can't you make armies balanced, like Scissors? I quit!

Well the Insignia is going to be red so didnt want to much red on the model, but i played around on Bolterandchainsword.com space marine editor and grey was the colour i thought went best..

Good work!

Very nice scheme you picked out there.

But Angels Inferno sounds like it should be a BA sucessor... And I am in no way biased to BA.. honest

All the models look nice, but unfortunately you can't have a Relic Blade and a gun, a Relic Blade is a two handed close combat weapon.

Ah Salamanders, The most acceptable of the Vanilla Marines, At least its not another Ultramarines or missing primarch sucessor!!

Kudos!

Also, I think you can have a gun and a relic blade, You just dont gain extra attacks for having a pistol or second CCW.

That's pretty slick! Nice coverage on the orange too, that can be hard to pull off that smoothly. That terminator especially looks REALLY nice.

I'm aware it's an option but there is a section in the SM codex that explains how the weapons work. (not on the back profile page)

Looks great. Although for salamander successors, kinda weird having them sport stuff from DA. Not that robes cant be non DA, and they work well for sergeants/etc, but I think they'll end up burning off all of them mid battle!

On the topic of relic blades, any character can have any configuration as long as it follows the profile. I could have 2 SS on my captain if i wanted!

Personally I must say I'm not a fan of orange for marines myself, although saying that you have executed it exceptionally well. As far a the models go themselves I must say they are looking very good, especially the libby conversion.

For your standard bearer I think you should definitely look into getting your hands on the Empire general standard, its been done a million times before but it really would fit with you force exceptionally well.

Very nicely done, good clean paint job, and the orange looks really nice.

The robes are interesting twist, but i like them.
