Battlewagon: the Shoota Boyz ride!
This was made mostly from plasticard. The rear treads are from an old Leman Russ. I doubled the width of each tread and made the track sections from card. The rest is scratch built. The wagon is equipped with 3 big shootas and one rokkit launcha. The rokkit launcha and two big shootas are removable so I can swap out weapon combinations as needed. It also has a kannon, deff rolla, grot riggers and amour plates. It took about 3 weeks to build. I will be painting it soon and will post more pics when I am done.

That thing looks awesome man! Just curious, because I honestly have no idea, is that about the same size as the actual battlewagon model?

I'd be interested to know how many different thickness plasticard you used for that?

Whoopty - I only used 2. I buy my card from the hardware store... For Sale signs. The big ones are about a 1mm thick and the small ones are almost see through. The only down side of this is that one side is printed on, so you need to make sure that the printed side is not visable, or you sand it down (a real pain to do).

beezley1981 - the wagon is 9" x 6" x 6" - i have no idea how big the GW one is, but my guess is that mine is just a bit bigger. A battle wagon can carry 20 boyz, and I really wanted them all to fit, so it is kinda big =)

Joyous_Oblivion - someone else had made that comment, and I did some re-work on one of the lockers... I will post pics once I am done painting it.
