its good to see people using actual metallic paints

with all the NMM going on nowadays, its hard to get a good look at how good metallics could looks like.

your an inspiration on both your painting and your modeling!

I posted some early shots of mty Iron Warriors Land Raider way back on page 85. Here are the current ones... still not complete, but almost ready for primer.

Made a sort of hover craft for my lord to ride, uses a res orb for steering

also working on a small base so he can switch between counting as a destroyer lord or not

Not much of a conversion, Just added the inlaid armor to the rhino and made an armored....umm...codpiece...flap... for the captain

it puts my one to shame :(
though I did build it in two hours, using no modelling putty or plasticard, and I'm underage.
AFAIK, this guy built it in a year or two, with LOTS of plasticard, and he's a pro.
I saw that webpage when my LGS manager saw my stompa and told me about that one. It's so unbelievably epic.

not deliberate (not played GoW), but I made some inquisitorial henchmen/guard veterans that look similar. I don't think I have any pics of them, though. I'll go knock some up.

@ Mx1- You might be surprised, but there are no moving parts in the dozer blade of my Land Raider. It's just a simple slide and groove setup.

I wanted to make a functional one, such as the hatch on the LR, but figured that simple in this case would be better.

yeah. I'm quite apocalypse-oriented, seeing as I have a 2000 point guard army with 15 infrantry, the rest being tanks and super-heavies.
having a spudstompa is awesome, but I decided to add my own little flair in the form of having kids.
when I gather the bitz I'm gonna make mrs spudstompa and a dread boss to form a spud mob.

Im quite proud of my Mephiston conversion, mostly a kitbash with a few bits sculpted out of greenstuff to boot:
