Go Thunder...oh wait...do I see Wolf Guard Battle Leaders on Thunderwolves? Unacceptable!!!
Seriously though, looks pretty nice...a few nit picking things...if a model is going to have Belt of Russ...it should have 2 things: Saga of the Bear and 2 Special Close Combat Weapons. Next up, Wolf Guard Battle Leaders are overpriced Thunderwolf Cavalry...just take them with one from the 4 man squad and make a second Cav unit.
That'll save you some points and be fun times...it really is going to be a huge uphill battle for the Death Star...however, I have faith in you.

If your gonna bring 4 TW HQ, might as well keep them a bit cheap. Maximize their killing power.
If I were to do it, it would look like this:
Wolf Lord (220)
-TWC, Frost Blade, SS, Runic Armor
Wolf Lord (215)
-TWC, Wolf Claw, SS, Runic Armor
Wolf Lord (225)
-TWC, TH/SS, Runic Armor
Wolf Lord (250)
-TWC, Frost Blade, Belt of Russ, Runic Armor, Saga of Warrior
5-man Grey hunters (115)
-Flamer, Razorback.
5-man Grey hunters (115)
-Flamer, Razorback.
3-man TWC (210)
-TH/SS
-BP/CCW
-Bolter/BP
2-man TWC (150)
-WolfClaw/SS
-BP/CCW
While my better judgment says that these lists don't win games, you might want to reserve your 2 Razorbacks, and pray that they come out late, because once they are annihilated, you pretty much lose the objectives game.

The biggest difference between your list and mine is initiative strike. I think that mine are survivable enough in a 1500 to last till I1. But you HQ's really are actually more expensive. I think that the one squad will have a higher survivability because of wound allocation than two seperate squads. Do you have another reason for splitting them apart? And whats the reason for the weapon changes on a model with belt of russ? And yes saga of the warrior born looks awesome... contemplating on dropping something to add that. Oh and I didn't take saga of the bear because I took the fenrisian wolves. I figured I would sluff off the wounds to them that would cause instant death, at least from shooting attacks. By the time I get to combat I figure I'll only have a wound or two left from shooting, so eternal warrior won't be too big of a deal. Unholy martyr, I'm not understanding on how you are creating a second cavalry unit?

Because the wolf dex doesnt allow 2 HQ choices to have the same gear. Initative strike... what are you saying? Frost blades strike at initiative. I only put in 2 Thunder hammers there =)
Regarding as to why I divided the TWC into 2 squads is because putting all 5 in 1 squad allows you to only assault 1 unit. Very bad. You need to disperse your forces, to engage multiple targets to achieve maximum tactical efficiency. The trick is knowing which enemy units to tie down, and which units you actually need to kill.

Great list. As a suggestion, you can drop 2 of the HQs and add another squad of of Thunderwolves pumping your TWC wound count by 4 or more wounds! (you'd probably have a few more points you can spend on power weapons for your twc to wound allocate). Though IMO this type of build (the 2 squads of TWC build) is really the very definition of "power gaming" and should only be used when you really want to stick it to your opponent. lol

T-wolves are great and all, but an army of less than 20 models will have a hard time against.. well, anything. Triple vindicator would make you wanna punch babies @_@ interesting list tho

All my Hq's do have 'different gear'. They just can't have the exact same gear. The dex says same gear combination, so add in something or take one little thing away and tada! The frost axe striking at I is the difference, all of mine are powerfists or TH. As for the troops I will probably take rhinos instead of drop pods for a while during play testing as I don't have any drop pods yet. The point of the first drop pod is to help deny movement lanes, making it more difficult for the opponent to run away and split up. I realize that a skilled player will see this and be able to counteract it, but not everyone is skilled. How would a triple vindicator list hurt this so bad? With the wound allocation and each HQ having it s own pups to sluff wounds off onto, enough should survive to get into combat. Splitting off the Hqs to target seperate things is part of the plan. I don't plan on leaving it as one squad for the entire game, just until they get some cans open and make things a lot more squishy. The drop pod list, first pod comes in empty with the troops in reserve. Troops might be squishy but what are you going to have to shoot at them when the thunderwolves get there? That's the theory behind the list. As for tactially deciding what gets tied down and what gets killed, well I always hope to kill it all lol, but that's just tactics for you and not something you can properly prepare for until the game unless you know exactly what your opponent is bringing. I see the downfalls you guys are saying, every list has downfalls, my question is does this list have the components necessary to outweigh them?

Trust me, if the opponent wants your (2) 5 man Grey hunters dead. He will find a way. In retrospect, I have done a similar list to yours, guess what happened? I got tabled LOL, talk about irony. This list just doesn't cut it against good players with good lists.
I can name tons of army archetypes and units that can totally wreak this list without even trying, but Id rather leave that to your imagination.
You are probably in the "pup" phase where every wolf player passes through. Its the phase that you think massed TWC will demolish everything, but they just dont and be totally disappointed =)

Nah, I'm in the I'm have an army that's actually capable of assualt so let do the crap out of it. I fully and completely understand that leaving out aspects of the game, in this case shooting!, is an extreme downfall. I am just really excited about being able to successfully assualt things I would like to. Oh, and I know it's a dirty list to play, but it looks so fun! throwing 2/3 of my points into a single death or glory squad is just exciting and challenges me as a strategist and on the fly thinker.
