I ask. What is with the douple standards in this world?
why is it whne a man sleeps around he is a stud but when a woman does it she is a slut?
or why is it a woman are the ones that need help and not the man?
Or why si it a men are expected to be smart at get good grades while women is to look cute?
Had feminism really only gotten this far?

Because we're wired differently. Men are wired to sleep with everything that moves, women are not. Since all men are very sexually active, to be a male slut would require an extraordinary amount of sex.

Women on the other hand, generally equate sex with love, and other such concepts. They're not wired to go out and shag everything that moves like men are, hence, when it happens, it's out of the norm, unlike with men, where we're all sluts. Therefore, the fact that women generally aren't as easy with the notion of sleeping around constantly, means that those that do are remarked upon.

Because we're physically stronger, and as such, when it comes to things requiring physical strength, such as carrying the shopping, we're better suited to it. Not only that, it's good manners.

Ok the last one is worded wrong. What i mean is generally alot of people think nothing of a women who doesnt go to college and gets a man right away but a man that isnt true.
And i wasnt talking about physical. I mean man are genrally left to there own devices with things such as homework or other stuff. While girls genrally are nurtured. Like when a boy scrapes his knee he is told to "suck it u" but when a girl is she is nutured.

Slut is a state of mind, thanksmuch Things are better than they used to be and they'll continue to get that way. In 50 years I doubt there'll be near the impact there is now, much like comparing women/men today to the 20s.

This isn't generally true, in any of my experiences. To the contrary, I see more active effort to encourage intellectual pursuits among women, probably due in a large part to the pressure for athletic achievements being higher among men.

"Feminism" doesn't approach things very realistically, from my experiences with it. Hell, it often comes across as blatantly hypocritical. I think a person who was trying to genuinely increase parity between the sexes would be better off abandoning most of "feminism's" associations, and primarily approaching things from a new angle.

I have no problem with women being sluts, just as long as they're releasing there sexual satisfaction on a frequent basis with me. Also the good thing about being single is I don't have to feel guilty about having promiscuous sex.

Think of Vaginas as locks and penis's as keys (because lets face it that is exactly what they are).
A man who sleeps around has a key that opens many locks, a master key if you will. Whereas a women who sleeps around a lot would not have the same grace, as a lock which can be opened by any key is just a bad lock.

I have been told that lesson off someone and it has stuck with me.

Biological bases informing cultural standards, and elements of those cultural standards hanging around despite other elements being dropped. It wasn't ever a nice way of looking at things, but it probably made more sense in the '30s than it does today.

Feminism is pretty diverse and includes a lot of different thoughts, but it is interesting that in the main it seems to be driving towards everyone being treated equally, while at the same cultural studies are moving away from that and instead recognising that we're different being welcoming to those differences.
