I just ordered a couple of items of Wayland Games and I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with them. Like order time, shipping, customer service, etc. Thanks Guys.

Their customer service is excellent.
Shipping times can be tough, if you order a big batch (and if you're buying from an overseas store you probably are) they'll take 1-2 weeks to get the stock, then 1-2 weeks more the models to actually make it to you.
I've since decided it's just not worth the trouble. You save ~6% over TheWarStore, but get them 2-3 weeks later. Buy that time I've already lost interest in that army.
Shipping is quite reasonable. I've placed $300+ orders and it's never been more then ~$10 shipping.

Like pretty much all of these discount online retailers, depending on what you order, delivery can be slow. They are restricted by GW on how many times they can place resupply orders - for instance, I believe Maelstrom places their orders with GW on a Friday. Anyway, depending on whether the store has the item in stock or not depends on the delivery time. As with most things in life, there is a trade-off; the decent price reductions come at the cost of sometimes having to wait 2 or 3 weeks to get stuff.

Re stock, having visited their store and warehose (its 30 ins from me and therefore the only non GW store near by) I can say they do hold allot of stock and are pretty cool fellers to boot. Also they do denote stock levels on the website.
But I assume that to minimise shipping costs to you and themselves they will wait for it all to be there, obviously the overseas element will exagerate that.

I'm not a big fan and only use them now for items I can't get from other online stores. Having to mail them every month for updates on an order that took 6 months to be completed is not what I consider particularly good service.

I ordered from them some time ago, everything went smoothly, yet somewhat slow as they had to order some stuff. But the website indicated that beforehand so that was okay. I prefer to order from Maelstrom as they are cheaper for smaller orders (which occurs more often in my case) but for larger batch orders I´d go Wayland.

They're great guys and orders usually go out in a week. However, they are pretty much at GW's mercy and if the stuff they've ordered doesn't come in then it doesn't get sent to you.

I agree sometimes the odd bit isn't in stock. But due to the saving if you have a large order which minimizes the %-age of postage they are very good. If you are ordering something for a tenner just use GW or maelstrom as if you add postage it is more. But +1

A buddy of mine once pre-ordered IoB place a unit of Plague Monks and White Lions of Chrace to beef up both forces and they held up his entire shipment till both the extra units arrived.
I prefer Maelstorm. They'll usually split your order into chunks and mail them at different times so as not to delay the whole thing.

Guys this reply will be long
We had our stock check last weekend. RRP value of our stock was over $500k USD and about £350k. Which was a shock to me. We have alot of stock. There are issues with supply from some suppliers which can mean a constant struggle to keep the right stuff in stock. We think there is poor supply, and we up the stock we carry to offset this. GW ordering limitations also have an impact if something is out of stock.
Why do some orders take a while to ship? Well if you order from the range of nearly 10,000 products you will sometimes select something which is out of stock. In the past we part shipped lots of orders but returning to part shipped orders to complete them is incredibly time consuming. So on each order a judgement is made if an item is out of stock. We will ship/refund/or email for a opinion of buyer.
Just to clarify a misconception, we do not order the stock in for your order. We order stock in to our target stock level. Our aim is to have every product we sell in depth all the time and to ship all items that or next day. We ship nearly 70% of non preorder items same day at the moment which I think is pretty impressive.
Pre orders - If you order something as a preorder. Your order will ship once everything on your order is ready. If you want items shipped earlier then try not to mix available products and far off preorders.
We do have issues sometimes with an item being no longer available. And to make this worse.. guess which of the manufacturers actually let you know in advance of deletions and changes... none. Unlike other industries the games industry requres retailers to do a lot of legwork on establishing product availabilty.
We have a helpdesk system that the guys are on 12 hours a day 7 days a week and we do fix problems. The staff are human so they do happen but I am more than happy stand by our promise of customer service.
If you have an issue and its within our ability to fix it will be done.

I've used Wayland occasionally. Never any problems, and they do good deals for big purchases.
I don't bother with the manufacturer direct any more if I'm shopping on-line.
