Alternatively, you could make them a separate piece that could be added or not to a model during assembly or left off.

In fact you could sell the "bits" separately, maybe offer a variety pack. I know a few Slaanesh players who would be all over that.

Of all companies, Maelstrom might be the only one actually doing this

While that might actually be pretty handy, the notion of selling them as extras instead of just having people clip them off is sort of silly. Anyone who grew up on a farm knows that clipping off the jibblies is a lot easier than putting them back on.

They also generally don't get bent out of shape at seeing an animal's junk, but eh, small steps.

Actually don't. Its probably a criminal offence to imagine that.

I think I get the thrust of what you are saying. You guys are really on the ball(s)!

Is there any way one can become a member in your line up?

... ok, I gotta stop... I need to go teach kids in a few minutes for Slaanesh's sake!

Impressive... I'm rather amazed by how well your sculptor translated the sneer from the concept art to the actual model.

Rather burly fellow, isn't he?

I'd call it more if a disdainful amusement than a sneer, really. Either way, it looks nice.
The extra arms do something weird (but necessary) to the torso, making me think I'd have preferred him as a 2-armed monstrosity, but I really do like it.

I stopped buying stuff just because I liked it a long time ago. If I ever have a need for something remotely similar to this, however, I would easily rank it at or near the top of my list.

Excellent execution of detail.

I'm impressed you guys manage to put out something this impressive so often. Other game companies with full lines don't get close to matching the quality and quantity of output.

Awesome piece but as to be expected from Rackhams former number one sculptor. Very reminescent of his work with the Ophidians and Apostates which is where I'll try and proxy this guy into.

Thanks! - It's hard work hitting the monthly deadlines, but we're doing well so far and are doubling the BaneLords output in October so there will 4 BaneLords released that month! The BaneBeasts, being larger are much more work so we'll be sticking to one release a month there (for now!).

Indeed, when we drafted the concept for this mini, Stephane was the guy I had in mind as the sculptor. His Ophidians (snake body and scales), Molochs (winged deamons) and the light elemental (feathered wings) ate all aspects he was familiar with, Stephane is a great guy and a wonderful sculptor.

The final result is more heavily muscled than the concpet - that's intentional, there's a big gap time-wise between concept and sculpting and in that time we decided to beef him up!

Wow! Didn't know that, but no that you say it, it completely makes sense!

Any chance he'll be sculpting some of the BaneLords?

I will get one, but there is 1 thing I do not like - the armour (and i assume the torso underneath if he was real) seem to broad below the chest. Giving more like a regular body builder physique, i think, would have looked better where it's broader at the chest but tapers down a bit to the waist. Some of that may have to do to support 2 extra arms though.

Think you could add something like this into your mix?

I really wish you guys would extend your voucher times a little longer - they always end just before I get paid, since I'm one of the many out there who get paid fortnightly. If they finished a few days later on a Thursday I could budget for purchases and pick up a whole lot more...

That is the best Daemon Prince model certainly for Slaanesh I've ever seen. The combination of beauty, strenght and elegance is exquisite. I have to say it's the finest model you've produced.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. We have a Vampire Lord planned for later in the year Oct. Remy Tremblay (the same guy that sculpted our Vagrant Knight) has sculpted him and he's done a great job. He will be previewed the month before release, 1st Mon of the month as usual.

In fact, October will see us release 4 BaneLords!

Foolish neophyte! Don't you understand that the internet is a place to control, not a place to advertise your miniatures company! By not only showing pictures of what you sell, but also telling people when and how they may be purchased, it shows that you clearly have no idea how to run a successful minis company, and I look forward to your demise.

Advertising indeed!

Good news. This is the best time in the hobby. Full of promise. GW lets us down each time and we know it but secretly we're hoping that this is the edition that GW gives us a balanced game that can also be played competitively at tournaments. I'm loving it.
