Toys R US had a Buy one get one 50% off sale, the random minifig bags were dirt cheap that way. Of course, we took advantage of that pricing on some ^bigger^ sets also

Forgive my pause in production, I got distracted by other plastic things. Updates will shortly arrive to this thread. I have to do two model kit reviews for the IPMS-USA site, quickies really, but you'll soon see why I chose these particular two model kits to review, and THEN I'll work in some more Catachan time.

Nope, I get them for free, I just have to do a kit review article, that usually means a full build on kits when possible. Things like aftermarket PE Brass stuff like Eduard etc. I can get too, but I have a hundred other guys in the Reviewer Corps to share with.
I chose...wisely with the fence kit I believe

I know right! It's the biggest ship kit LEGO has ever made. I don't care that it cost $179, My Marauder Bomber was $300, they are both once in a lifetime builds. Something I dig about those. I Built a 1/8 scale Stagecoach with full Horse team of 8 kit, just for that once in a lifetime build experience...awesome fun.
