i hope i have not done something disrespectful with that shopped purple heart... i know when someone gets this something serious must have happened to him... by the way... the germans got the iron cross for the same matters... my grandpa got at least two of them and a bunch of other stuff too... he showed me once... and his wife told me once how he used to flinch in his sleep... well that is war for you.... nasty piece of crap... all around however you turn it around...

Ok, so I went to the doc and got a tetanus shot (which was not the most fun part of my day) and got prescribed antibiotics (my finger is about 1.5 times the size it should be... meaning I have an infection) and joy of joys, cherry on top of the cake, they want me to get an x-ray because they think I have debris lodged inside the meat of my finger.
Whee.
But it was worth it. Here's that "secret project" I've been working on. It's a birthday present for my buddy Daichallar. I gave it to him earlier tonight so it's cool to "unveil" it here. Besides, I figure this thread could use a couple pics actually related to the hobby

This is when it was still deep in the WIP stages and the Ork Mek is a 2nd Ed model, but the 20mm bases are still the same. Each level can have 1 60mm base and 2 20mm or 6 20mm bases.

Either the Mods have no idea what rivets are for in modeling, or have absolutely no sense of humor tonight. Vik's Purple Heart and my SoUR banner were taken down. I'd host mine elsewhere right now but the image is on my work computer.
I will not bow to Imperial tyranny! I will host my image on my own website and SoUR will live!
... just not today. Or tomorrow. Maybe Tuesday.
