Angelus hears the sorcerors words and is pleased. He would indeed be able to lay a trap for Helmian.

A Blazing purple portal appears before the Shadow, it flares and flickers with unholy energies but the Shadow enters it. The portal closes behind him as he exits it only to face a Chaos Sorcerer, his armour is a deep red colour, dotted with daemonic seals and foul symbols. A strange key like object floats over his right hand and twirls to the Sorcerers whims, he carries a Beldeum staff that stares down at the shadow like a foul watch tower.

"It seems you have stayed loyal to the bargain, I have prepared my troops for the coup and are ready to open fire on those who serve X'carhis. If we can have both the Alpha Legion and Inquisition move in for a quick strike at the same time we will have him caught in a trap from which their is no escape, then you can kill Helmian and I will gift you with the object I offer."

"Helmian is not a target my masters have sanctioned for demise at this time, indeed I am to ensure that little happens to him if it is within my power to do so, his fall from grace will be a long one, drawn out and bloody. My people will see to that. For be warned Sorceror, I am only the harbinger of a greater force, one that would take this planet. Take it and destory every trace of the astartes, chaos or inquisition. That ever stepped foot here. They will glass the planet from space before starting anew. I strongly reccmommend that after your... coup. You do not linger. Five days from now a fleet so large it will eclipse the very stars will come to this world, the darkness over this battlefield will be liften and my brothers will destory this planet utterly. And then reshape it to thier purpose. I am only the Harbinger, the shadow of the Angels of death. I am Angelus Umbra. And you would do well to heed my words sorceror, for the legion of the Screaming skull approaches, I do not tell you this so that you may fight, and indeed you are lucky you can still flee. Because this message is usually only reserved for the people who cannot flee, that their screams of abject terror may be all the louder, that the shamans may take those screams, of terror, of death. And craft a weapon so powerful that the light of the astronomican itself will be blotted out. We do not take prisoners sorceror, we do not leave survivors. Only ash. I will aid you in this coup. But I hope for your sakes that when the Pendulum of fate arrives you are not on this world. Because if you are. Nothing can save you from the purge."

While he talks Angelus is dead calm. A calm created from having delivered this speech to dozens of world leaders. Astartes, Xenos, Humans. All try to fight, or flee, but ultimatley, only their screams endured the passing of the shadow. Angelus turned from the sorceror speaking one last phrase.
"The coup will be performed, but the time of this worlds oblivion draws near. I warn you, this once. Do not linger to witness it. For it will be the last thing that this world sees. And the final dieing shudders of this world, before it is saved from destruction. Will bring about an apocalypse so strong that not even the gods of chaos dear to approach... Take it from me sorceror, it is a sight you do not want to witness. Take that from someone who has witnessed it. Witnessed it so many times that death itself has become a intricate part of my life. A part so natural it is like breathing. Oh yes I have died sorceror, I have died once for every time a world is shattered. And my brothers recall me to the task at hand. That is why I am named Angelus Umbra, because I am naught but a shadow. The shadow of death. The death of angels."

Angelus walks back through a portal that opens of its own accord, a portal ringed with flickering fires and writhing bones, and a liquid substance that appears like molten flesh. And then he is gone. Angelus steps through the portal and the transfer is instant, he is near the Inquisition camp, they are beginning to leave the planet, one Inquisitor stands out from the surrounding mortals. Like the shadow that he is, through the darkness, the Shadow approaches him.
"Helmian Gausse, I believe you once knew me."

Also just a note

Right off at the start of that post I realised that this would not end well, 'the Chaos Gods will fear' is ridiculously stupid. If something is that strong or powerful the word godmodding come to mind instantly, if this is something like a C'tan, Necron, Tyranid or super evil awesome badiez that make even the current villains of 40k suck instantly then PM me.

OOC: Yeah, that seems a bit unfair to have the power to glass this planet in five days time when we are still on Chapter 1. As that effectively means that the whole plot will need to drastically change. I can, however, see justification for such an event further along in the RPG (a penultimate or final chapter) so long as you run it by blood reaper first. I generally like the idea but it is far too soon for such a major event to happen...

The Tau approached an entrenched Chaos Flak position, Chaos marine guards stood carrying Heavy-Bolters and Auto-cannons ready to reduce invaders to ash and charred bones. The Tau Stealth Suits swiftly and quickly moved under some broken and crooked razor wire and begun to set up teleport beacons and quietly assassinated snooping Cultists and Heretics before they could try and find the hidden devices.

k guys lets examine the post a little,

firstly, I siad they would Arrive in five days, not that it would take them that long to glass the planet, that would probly take weeks, if not months.

Secondly, Angelus said five days, from my experience in these RP's we could still be waiting for them toarrive in june, it takes us an absurdly long time to get through each day.

Thirdly Angelus will die at the end of it when they glass the planet, he will be down there on it, its why he arrives on the planet on the way he does, because he never leaves planets, he dies and then is brought back from the otherworld over the course of several months, far to long for me to get him back during this RP. Do you honestly think I would let it arrive early and ruin my RP fun? Not really. If the worst come to the worst then I will delay them so the RP can go on longer.

and lastly, I will not be controlling the ships, they will pretty much do the same thing no matter what happens, they will arrive, kick the crap out of everything, and then begin to terraform the planet. And thats anouther thing, this is'nt planetary destruction, it is terraforming, they are just "Healing" the planets from the corruption of civilization.

Now, after saying that I am still quite happy to change the post, more than happy, but after saying that do you all still want me to?

OOC: I'd just like to point out that the Skulls can't be a legion. Chapter, warband or renegade title is about the best they can do.

IC: "My lord!" the cultist threw himself at Argylle's feet as he approached. Normally this behaviour re-enforced the Chaos Lord's ego, but today it annoyed him. After being greeted by an empty dropship with nothing to kill inside, his daemons being destroyed after months of slaughter, deals with the warp and non-torturous murders, the damned Inquisition coming to his playground for some robot that he didn't even care about... it had been a bad day.

"We have succeeded in hacking into the frequency of another warband!" the cultist continued, not realising that this information had saved him from becoming an offering to the Prince of Chaos. "They say that they are under attack by teleporting Tau!"

Argylle briefly considered this. The Tau had never posed a substantial threat to him before, lacking an understanding of the Warp, and it was probably more beneficial to let the other warband suffer casualties now, rather than losing men inflicting the same damage later. But, on the other hand... it had been hours since he'd mutilated anything.

Turning to his Raptors, Argylle grinned. "Get ready, boys, we're going to aid our brothers!"

"Yes, I must appease Slannesh. Even if it is the blood of the T'au we spill, it is still fun to watch them squirm and break when their 'Greater Good fails!'"

The Raptors and Marines laugh and rabble about the attack on the T'au, they rev-up their chain-swords and activate their power-swords as the drop-ship flies over the Chaos space marine and T'au skirmish. The ships accesses points slide open allowing the Raptors to leap out and begin the attack, screaming praises to Slannesh with dark, glee.

If they're not astartes, you really shouldn't use the word legion in relation to them. It's just confusing.

The Sorcerer laughs at the Shadows words, he almost has to balance him self on his staff but is able to return to his normal position and smirks behind his helm;

"Of coarse, just remember the task at hand. Draw the Inquisition and Alpha Legion towards the Titans front gates and have them engage X'carhis and his loyalist forces, I will reward you once he is dead."

As the Shadow approaches the Inquisitor he draws his glaive and points it towards the Shadowy figure;

"Who are you? What do you want servant of Chaos?"

(You will all see... they are astartes I guess, but then again they really arnt astartes.)

I have a message for you, one of my informers on this planet, who wishes to remain anonymous has discovered the location of the titan forge gates" Angelus hands helmian a length of bone with coordinates scribed across their surface, Helmian takes the article and observes the coords but even as he does the bone desintegrates into dust

"Did you memorise the cooridinates? Good. Then I will see you at the titan forge gates as soon as you can mobilise. We will be able to talk later.
Angelus crouches down and propels upwards his jump pack launching him into the air, the darkness quickly swallows him, a shadow indeed.

(The Sorcerer just contacted us, Alpha Legionaries have already mobilized, Slannesh sons have engaged with T'au cardes while X'carhis returns to the Titan with the forces loyal to him. The Sorcerer has relayed information back to us that he will betray the Chaos lord once both the Inquisition and Alpha Legion engage, other reports claim three ships passed through this sector bearing the mark;
